What PC game(s) are you playing right now?

Haven't got it yet, it's on its way...hopefully here tomorrow :thumbsup:. I'm really looking forward to it though. It will be nice to play a game set somewhere other than a futuristic dystopian world as seems to be the case with most games these days.

Yeah, I don't think I could ever get tired of CS:S; just a fantastic game, plus Valve keeps on top of the updates which is nice :thumbsup:

Civ4 mainly. Most of the LAN parties I've been to recently, BF2 has been the staple game. We tried to get everyone to pick up CS:S, but less than half our regulars bought the game. We've usually only got around 7 regulars anyway, used to have almost double that but people PCS'd.

Civ4 is my current fav game, but R:TW finds some time once in a while.

I played gun awhile back.
I loved it. of course, i'm a fan of westerns too, but its a very fun game. has a few bugs but nothing gamebreaking.


I'm playing through:
Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory
Age of Empires 3 - its ok, could be better. I liked AoE2 better.
Galactic Civilizations 2 - Trying to play, but I'm just not getting it.
Hitman: Blood Money - trying to figure otu what to do is hard. I'm on the 1st mission past the tutorial and I just can't figure out how to go about it without getting caught.
CoD2 - for the occasional MP fix

Pretty dry right now man. 2/3 of the way through NFS:MW. Can't get into it anymore though. Just finished Condemned. What a great game that is. Kept getting better and better. Looking for Prey and any 3rd or 1st person scifi/horror.....

F.E.A.R.....single and multiplay. Multi DM is outstanding. BTW, the multiplay is free and worth the DL.
X3 Reunion.......big universe, big learning curve. EVE off-line so to speak.

The NHL games are coming this week so I gotta leave time for that. EA and 2K Sports. Trying to decide whether to spring $60 fricken buckos for either of the 360 games or get EA's PC game for half the price.

Completely *finished* Oblivion, last month . . . over 1,000 hours . . . superb Fantasy Action-Adventure/RPG . . . my 'game of the millenium'.

Then HL2-Ep1 . . . hated it . . .

Finished Q4 last week . . . took a week's worth of evenings . . . very good FPS

and B&W2 was a genuine surprise . . . Awesome Godgame/RTS that got really exciting . . . again a thread i started here about it:

i also bought Darwinia [together with B&W2 for $20] last month but haven't got into the 'retro' arcade feel or look.

lol, I think that every game mentioned so far in this thread was made in the last two or so years. Doom, Baldur's Gate II, and Hitman 2 here. I was going to play some Lands of Lore: Guardians of Destiny as well, but it won't detect one of the disks.

Haven't played Blood Money yet, but Silent Assassin is defenitely my favorite from the series. Basement Killing is an awesome level to just play mass murderer with an M60.
