Got the Droid Maxx last week. Surprised to see no love for it yet on the forums...

Motorola needs to make a GSM compatible GPe for the Razr Maxx.
I'd buy that.

Come to Verizon all because of the Razr Maxx? No, thank you.

VZ is very strong in my area. And with the new shared plans I have 4 family members on my plan and we have unlimited everything with more data than we'll ever use for ~$70/line. Only shortcoming of VZ in my mind is how slow they get new phones

HTC One
ATT/Sprint - April 19
TMobile - April 24
VZ - August 22

GS4
ATT - April 30
TMobile - April 24
Sprint - April 27
VZ - May 30

Ridiculous.

Based on WSJ, you have Unlimited everything with 6GB shared data among those 4 lines.

All carriers in my area are strong, so there's no need for me to personally pay an extra $100/month premium.
But I understand that not everyone has a T-Mobile signal. If T-Mobile wasn't here, I'd be on Verizon for sure because the other carriers(Sprint and AT&T) are charging the same prices as Verizon while providing mediocre service.

Screen on time?

Only about 1hr 15m, it being on the weekend haven't been used as much. At this rate, it should be good for just about 4 full days of weekend activity, probably 3 days of weekday activity on average.

I previously got two full days during the week without battery saver, and higher than normal activity (app downloads/config/showing off/etc)

Auto brightness
no wifi (all 4g)
couple hours of audio to car stereo
etc

4 smartphone lines, 1 basic phone. Share everything unlimited plan w/8GB data. Toital bill w/tax and all is 326/mo. Also hotspot/tethering is included with the plan free (though it may also be with other plans now, I haven't looked in awhile)

Average is around 10m u/d, wide 4g coverage, I'm very happy. Last I had heard specifically, TMobile had decent 3g in my area but no 4G, but that was over a year ago - and it wasn't firsthand experience so I can't confirm

PS - You have too many open tabs

Sprint and T-mobile offer unlimited LTE.
But that is getting off-topic on this thread.

Have you guys even considered the android OS?

My household is similar to his and yes, we have. I used it until around 2.3 and went iOS. I spent a couple weeks with a 4.0 device for the specific reason to try modern Android. I just prefer iOS. (in fairness I'm completely Apple at this point from router to tablet to computer, wife uses Windows though) My wife simply doesn't want to change. I like iOS and bought her an iPhone when I refused to buy another blackberry. She simply like what she has and has no interest in trying something different, obviously not a power user. Same reason she sticks with Windows.

My normal device is a Nokia Lumia 920, but it's currently in for repairs - something messed up with the SIM reader, and it stopped making good contact with my SIM.

Picked up a Lumia 520 to use until I get it back - surprisingly, I don't really notice any reduced performance. The small screen is a bit odd, but otherwise it isn't really bad at all.

Nexus 4, I like it, then again I came from a blackberry pearl, that did not even have Wifi, or ability to have apps. It was basically a smart dumb phone lol.

Verizon GS4. Overall I'm happy with it. Trying to use the screen in bright sunlight is definitely an adventure but I knew that going in. Other than that I guess the reception on it could be better. It isn't bad but I think some other phones do better, especially Motorola...actually I think my old HTC Incredible 2 was a little better at picking up 3G.

I'm on my third iPhone 4S. First one was issued last November, they just don't last long in my service.

I've owned a Droid Bionic through-out the 2 year contract with Verizon. I'm waiting for either a iPhone 5s, or 6, or a better phone to come to Verizon. Or I may just switch carriers. I like the Windows phone. Our drummer has one and it's nice. I'll pay 2 bucks for Google maps if I don't have to have all the other bloat-ware these phones get
