Unless there is a definite way for me to get past their tether block, Verizon is still the way for me. Saves me $50 on a home internet line.
T-Mobile blocks tethering by packet sniffing and reading the user-agent string in your HTTP request headers. This data can be easily spoofed on nearly all browsers.
Do a "Google" Search or an "XDA" search about it.

Will they let me use over 15gbs a month? No.
Stop spreading FUD.
You obviously don't have T-Mobile Unlimited 4G service and therefore know nothing about it.
There are no throttling or data caps involved with T-Mobile's unlimited 4G service unless you use 9,999GB(9.77TB in a single month), and who uses that besides NSA employees? I have yet to see anyone on Verizon, AT&T, or Sprint prove that they used that much data in a single month either.

Lots of people confirm this:

Sorry, I thought they capped at around 5gbs or so. Must be some other carrier or something.

What happens say with AppleTV boxes or game systems?

If I had to guess, I'd say absolutely nothing.

T-Mobile is specifically looking for and blocks known *non* mobile user agents like desktop versions of Firefox, Chrome, and Internet Explorer. If you use no user agent, T-Mobile won't block/redirect traffic.

For reference:
The stock Android browser identifies itself as "Safari" in it's user agent string.
I figure that if you're able to browse the internet on an Android device with a "Safari" user agent string, then you should be able to do so on any Apple product.

Verizon GNex. Plan on upgrading to the Note3 ASAP. Bought a few unactivated Kyocera Hydros. Gave one to my 6yo daughter and threw another into my tacklebox. Wife has a iPhone 4s. Mom has a Droid Charge which we plan to upgrade soon. I can't believe she went this long...

Battery has lasted as long as day and half using STAMINA mode. I stream Google music, 2 push email accts, web, talk couple hours, chat, video streaming normal.

I downloaded new FW last night, so we will see about those numbers changing

Where as my OneX LTE would last .half. day in comparison. Thats when my phone was new.

Monthly Phone bill: $0 . unlimited everything.
