I bought some Wamsutta pillows from Bed Bath & Beyond ($70ish each)...maybe they were more and that was with a 20% off coupon...can't remember. We have maybe 4-5 of them total. They sell them for back sleepers and side sleepers that have different fill. I recommend going down or synthetic down...to me, poly-fill pillows are junk.

If you buy one pillow and then a few months later, buy another the cost isn't so bad to absorb. What's bad is not sleeping well since you spend so much time in bed. It's worth the investment as long as you choose wisely when you buy. All filled pillows feel like they're overfilled when you first buy them until they break-in. Remember that. They'll be more comfortable after a couple of months when they get compressed some.

A memory foam one that I got from Sam's club at least 10 years ago. I'm a back sleeper and want a thinner pillow for that. The memory foam has been my favorite type since getting it. Can't sleep well anymore with anything else. I normally pack it for trips which sucks because it weighs (what feels) like 15 pounds.

I got one of those "Bamboo" memory foam pillows. Took a little getting used to, but now I'm quite happy with it.

This is awesome, I have used one for 10+ years with no deformation. It convinced me to switch to a latex mattress.

Latex is the shit, people need to listen to Wata. The Latex part pretty much is a lifetime material, covers etc, you can wash and replace.

Grew up with good old fashioned goose down. Have not found a good one in the last 20 years. Got 2 of these from a Kickstarter project. https://hibr.com/pillows/

They seem to have flattened out a bit. Need to use 2 for correct side sleeping height.

In the last few weeks I have been using 2 My Pillow (as seen on TV). Actually use only 1 as it is the perfect height.

Whatever I can get at Walmart, I usually get one that is fairly firm. Usually it shows if it's good for side sleepers or not, I get the one that says is good for side sleepers. Done.

Or you can do like I did when I went camping last week and forget your pillow, and use none at all. That kinda sucked.

Link? Name? Something to go on...

Contour pillow. Really need to just try a few to find one that works. Everyone is a little different. These type of pillows are really only good for side sleeping, if you don't side sleep pick a different pillow.

Based on another thread I read here I knew about latex pillows. I think I had one of these years and years ago. I never saw them in stores so I didn't know I could still get them. So I ordered a firm latex pillow off of Amazon. It's the only pillow I've had that doesn't go flat on me. Even the shredded memory foam pillows don't maintain their loft for more than one use. Then you have to plump them back up again. But the latex pillow barely deforms. That's probably too firm for most people but I like it. Now I don't have to sleep with my arm under my pillow for head support.

I bought an Isocool pillow after the last time we discussed this and I really like it.
