90% of the time it is my S&W 39-2, which is an alloy-framed 9mm (8 shot). Fairly compact, weighs next to nothing, and since I have had it for almost 30 years, and put a few thousand rounds thru it, it feels like an extension of my arm.....Accurate as hell out to 25 yds. Usually loaded with Hydra-shoks (Still have a bunch of 'em). IWB carry..

The other 10% I carry my Para-Ordnance P-12, as it also is deadly accurate and, hell, it's a .45! (Usually in a shoulder holster).

I have to say I am pleased. Not about any particular choice of weapon mentioned. Just that there are so many persons here with enough common sense to carry.

Not surprising really...this is a pretty big forum and with the overall nation averaging about 3% right now (thanks to a big increase over the last year) you're going to get a lot of hits.

I cannot legally carry a handgun, concealed or otherwise, in my state.

I personally own 12 guns and 5 of them are handguns but honestly, I don't feel the need to walk around with a gun hidden on my body at any time...nor do I want to. Guns are one of those tools you hope you never need to use but it's nice to have them when/if you need them.

Hell, even if I could legally carry here, I don't think I would. I don't even like wearing a watch so strapping 3lbs of metal to my waist isn't exactly something I want to deal with every time I leave the house.

Bottom line is this: I don't WANT to carry a concealed weapon. I enjoy owning them and shooting them and I sure would want them around when the shit hits the fan but I don't want to walk around armed 24/7. My day to day life just isn't that exciting...nor does it warrant being armed all the time.

Actually, that is not entirely true. You may openly carry a handgun in a holster in Kommiefornia. But it cannot be loaded. Leave it to the imbeciles in that suck-hole state to come up with a law like that.

I carry a Glock 27 most days but occasionally my Glock 22. I chose due to the ammo and magazine interchangeability with my duty weapon, which is another Glock 22. I carry IWB with a Comp-Tac Minotar. I really like it because you can change out the housing to accept different guns so I can use the same one for both guns. I am really thinking of picking up a Kel-Tec when I get some extra cash.

I carry my glock 26 (9mm) subcompact. It is very small and great for carrying. I carry inside the waste and with a regular dress shirt it doesn't even show.

I personally love the 9mm because it's very capable and I can carry a lot more rounds than other caliber. 10+1 of JHP in a very compact gun is very cool.

I also carry my glock 19 sometimes because I like the 15+1 capacity and it's not that much larger than my 26.

i carry a 26 with a 15 round mag and it's just the right balance of size, ammo, and feel.

plus the 26 feels good with a 15 round mag and a grip extension, not much bigger then the standard mag.

oh, and on occasion, i also carry the 26 in an exposed holster, since we are a right to carry state. but only in the mountains, if i go into town, i'll carry it concealed.

Primary carry is a Taurus Millenium Pro PT145, but I occasionally change it up and go with a Colt Government Model Series 80 in either .45acp or .380acp.

Actually, you're out of your fucking mind. Nobody in their right mind would attempt that in any city I've lived in here in SoCal...and I've lived here for almost 20 years of my adult life now.

And I'd still rather live here than any other state in this country. Suck on that.
