1440p @ 60 Hz. I was at 1200p for the longest time and it's only recently that I decided to move to 1440p, only because it finally hit the price point I was waiting for.

2560x1440 for several years now, but I'm planning to upgrade to 3440x1440 ultrawide in a near future.

I'm 1920x1200 and not particularly interested in an upgrade right now. I voted 1920x1080 as it was the closest option.

The only screen tech that has my interest is OLED, and primarily the interest is rooted in the contrast ratio more so than it is in resolution. Waiting for the tech to mature, and prices to come down.

1440p 60Hz for now... awaiting Vega launch to pick a 144Hz monitor and GPU to power it.

4k60. Can't go back to a lower resolution. Counting down the days to go 4k144hz or 21:9 5k120hz.

My 1070 will cry.

Just dusted off my ancient 1080p 165hz a few days ago and hated it. Awful image quality. I love the way my 4k panel looks. It makes games look so vivid and crisp! It just needs more than 60hz.

In a way, low resolution "mutilates" graphics by introducing edge aliasing. A 4k computer monitor at 24-27" goes a long way toward fixing this issue with pixel density.

I come from the Amstrad PC 1512 era and have followed all IT advances ever since. I know mutilation when I see it and 1080P ain't it. Especially with the current advanced gaming engines and AA modes.

Higher res is always better for sure, but one must know when the time is right to go there, without mutilating his wallet.

2560x1440 @ 60Hz. Have had my Korean 27Q Crossover LED-P for several years now. I still enjoy it even though I just recently got a EVGA 1070 SC for better FPS and am now on the hunt for something wider, 3440x1440 perhaps.

Seriously? Custom tri monitor setup options.. but you leave out both 16:10 resolutions??

Oops, Yes that is right...... I forgot to add 1920 x 1200 to 1920 x 1080 and 2560 x 1600 to the 2560 x 1440 120 Hz to 144 Hz for the single monitor choices. (but I remembered to do this for the triple monitor set-ups).

Next time I will make sure that doesn't happen.

To each their own, but I could never go back to 1080p for gaming. Was at 30" 1600p many years before the 34" 1440p.
You can't really go above 24" on 1080p with monitors without sacrificing clarity/sharpness and I like a larger monitor than 24". Bigger desktop is nice as well with sharp image, a person is not using AA on Excel or Anandtech.
I have to wonder what the desktop would be like at native 4k, my guess too tiny to read. For gaming it should only be superior.

1080p, on the same HP2709m LCD for the past 8 years.

I would not want to try to afford a PC that could run games comfy on a higher resolution.
Right now my GTX 1060 is compatible with my Dell's OEM power supply.
