That's for sure. I guess AT didn't want the hassle of fighting off legal threats and upsetting their sponsors. Plus, it was way too easy to get kicked off AT. I got expelled once myself. I've actually been here for over 2 years. The AT Gestapo were a bit too trigger ahppy in the past, but FW has taught them humilty. FW is getting a bit that way now though. Besides, with so many people hitting FW, it can kill a deal in minutes. I prefer to post my deals here, B$, or CCD.

Exactly. I think AT has more to worry about than fighting off legal threats for having Coupon codes on the forums. Afterall, it is a hardware site, not a deals site.

While we're on the topic, somebody said that PhatWallet split off from the HotDeals section of AnandTech many years ago and that the split was not pretty? Just cruious. what's the truth to this?
