... the thought of another 4 years with the Bush administration. I honestly can't understand why half of America STILL loves him. The thought of him being in office for another 4 years, allowing him to further f*ck up America, actually scares me. The reality is, he should have never won in 2000, and I pray he doesn't win again this November. I'm ready to yell conspiracy already even now should it happen which I fear WILL happen.

This man has turned just about the entire world against us, lied to us, continues to fill the pockets of the rich elite, while striping the middle and lower classes of jobs, health care, etc. Not to mention his crazy irresponsible spending which has put us in the LARGEST decificit in the history of our country, and his rollbacks of environment policies, being the MOST environmentally DESTRUCTIVE president EVER.

I really can't understand why Americans still love him. People say he's a man of values. This man values his friends and helping them get richer and richer. The public has been putting Kerry's service as a soldier into question now, but keep in mind, Bush NEVER even served in war. Bush was never half the citizen Kerry was, he was too busy doing coke and boozing it up while dodging the war with his connections.

This man is an idiot, and in the words of Mike Tyson, I think it's ludicrous that a man of his intelligence is PRESIDENT of our great country. He can't even demand the respect of the general US public much less the rest of the world, which is a big problem if you ask me.

He has done ENOUGH damage to the United States, and it's time he be out. When Bush supporters chanted "4 more years!" and Teressa Heinz Kerry replied "4 more years of hell," she spoke out my EXACT sentiments.

If you ask me Bush CAN and I fear WILL do more damage than terrorists ever will. This may sound ridiculous to some of you, but I believe it is a REAL fear that every US citizen should think about come time to choose our next president.

You want some truth? Educate yourself, and read up on what the Bush Administration has done these past 4 years and how they have crippled America. OR you can do it the fun way and play the BUSH GAME (fun AND educational!)

Not me, I can't trust him or his administration after his BS leading up to and including the invasion and occupation of Iraq.

Terrorist = terror = Bush's fear mongering. The Bush White house is exactly what the terrorist want. What better than an administration that amplifies and consitinly reminds of of terror? The intellegence communitiy needs to do their work covertly and out of the media. The rest of us need to live our lives like we live a free, prospering society. I don't want alerts, color codes, 'war on terror' updates every night, road blocks, military in the streets, etc. I want to live in America, the home of the free, not the home of the police state. I want freedom, not knee jerk laws like the Patriot act.

I honestly can't understand why half of America STILL loves him.
A. We don't know if it's "half of America" yet.
B. Some people will always vote the party line, no matter what.
C. Have you heard the expression "the devil you know"?
D. Don't believe everything you hear/read.

It is called "Circle the wagons" mentality.

Defend a cause, or an issue, or an administration without the benefit of thoughtful analysis (or even worse--faulty, self-fulfilling analysis). Pretty much, no matter what the facts are.

Very much akin to cheering for the home team--good or bad.

The Bush administration themselves term things in this narrow-minded context--us against them.

Only people with a "Circle the Wagons" mentality could come to the conclusion that The Bush administration deserves to be re-elected.

In-other-words, for these folks--the Bush administration is the home team. The facts won't change their mind. They will deny any facts that disagrees with their predetermined position.

Well, I wasn't speaking for you Red. You and I have different sensibilities.

I won't tarnish Kerry's luster in your eyes Red, but I'll be there with a shoulder for you when your angel falls from grace.

Nah I don't think much of Kerry, I just think a lot less of the Dub. If either party had a worthwhile candidate..let's say McCain against Kerry for example, the election would be a landslide for the Republicans. I would like to use an example of a great Candidate from the Democratic Party that would demolish the Dub but I can think of one at this moment. What I am saying is because we have 2 piss poor choices to choose from this election is going to be close.

I believe the biggest threat to America is socialism and nanny-state laws forced by rampant lawsuits and busybodies taking away our freedoms .

I guess it's all in who's bull is being gored.

It also seems that the older one gets, the more pragmatic and less idealistic they get.

Therefore, as bad as Bush may be, I cannot bring myself to vote for a person with a vote history left of Ted Kennedy, and an ambulance chaser who got rich off of junk science lawsuits.

To each their own, I guess.

I'm not idealist either but I can't vote for a man who recklessly invades another country which had the effect of actually helping our real enemies, Al Qaeda, by isolating us from our allies and by making us look like agressors in the eyes of the masses of Muslims in the M.E. which has helped with Al Qaeda's recruiting and resulted in growing support among the Muslim Masses.

My point stands. His voting history is very far left and is far more socialist than I would want for any leader. I believe the biggest threat to our freedom right now is socialism, and I will vote against any leader who supports it more than the opposition.

That's MY opinion. You may not like it and that's fine.

We've had this debate and know we don't meet eye to eye on this issue. So I'll just nod and say, OK.

Dude, as left as he may be, the Republican Congress would prevent him from inacting any of the things you fear that he would. On the other hand, with a Republican Congress and a Republican President who is being handled by the far Right whose going to prevent them from running roughshod?

I hate when they try and compare the two candidates - all these political analysts trying to show that one is better than the other by trying to make them equal. They are two completely different people. The media is the enemy on this one. They twist and turn each and every story to fit their own political agenda (re: Michael Moore, ABC). I say let's let the candidates convince us who to vote for, not the media or some political analyst. And all you who talk about Bush's war(fear) mongering - please shut up. The only information you have has come from a liberal media so of course they are going to criticize the actions that were taken. While I respect your right to have an opinion, please make it an informed opinion, not a media opinion.
