What should I buy?

Finally have some extra cash because school is over so I can work. Anyway, I am wondering what I should get with the $1000 that I want to spend on this comp:

Looks good to me but id probably opt for a abit board if it was me. The NF7 boards are known to be VERY good boards. Abit are probably my favorite boards and i have always been very happy with every one i have owned. Asus would be a close second.

Yeah, I was thinking about a DVD burner as being one item I should probably get, Also maybe a Audigy 2 ZS Platinum? Is it really that much better than the Live?

2nd hand working floppy drive (you'll won't use this all the time)
CDRW (do you need 2 cdrw?)
Good keyboard mouse combo (MS and Logitech are my prefered brands)
Monitor...I'd get a 2nd hand >yr. 2000 NEC, SONY, MITSU, Viewsonic for 100 bucks...they last a very long time....I've changed 3 machines at work and still have my dual monitor setup for 4 years (old nokia and viewsonic) Or get some other brand, I don't have any experience with KDS but I've read some had warping or color problems in the long run. Actually you can get 21" 2nd hand monitors for 100-180 that are still good if you get lucky. Some guys buys flat panel and sell thier nice monitors for just a few bucks to get rid of them.
get a soundcard if soundstorm is not good enough for you
get another ethernet card if you need it, the mobo has it already
Antec/Enermax/Fortron/Sparkle 350W above PSU

nothing really...maybe upgrade the soundcard to take advantage of those speakers and if you game a lot...a next gen video card?

So far I have had 2 suggestions for getting the Abit NF7 board... is it really a lot better than mine? I would have thought they were virtually identical.
