How is your monitor situation?
I am quite happy with my new dell and you could go dual for around $430

hot deals forum

It has a built in swivel, nice deal imo.

I'm on an old Dell 2405WFP. Still running well and I don;t have enough space for dual monitors. Although this gives me the idea of picking up a 24" monitor for the office, since the biggest we get is 17". Hmmm...

Do you cook? french copper studio They have some super nice stuff.

Or you could get a couple of really freaking nice knives.

You really have no ideas?

I have a TV, don't want a 360 since I don't really game on my PS3 as it is. I was thinking of maybe doing PC upgrades, but I don't really play anything demanding so couldn't realy see the point.

No, I don't really have any other ideas. Nobody has any cool gadget ideas (no iPhones) or anything?

KT

How about an iPhone?

I already have 2 laptops, a PS3 and a GPS (never use it, it was a Xmas present). I'm wondering about one of those readers though, could be useful for me.

I run, but that's about it.

I do love to cook and I could probably use some new gear...

Save your money bro for when Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 come out. You will need a system upgrade and you can buy collectors editions of both games.

That's what I'm doing!

2.5 pairs of jeans?

I do need jeans (gigantic hole in the crotch of my current ones), but that will be a separate purchase from this.

I couldn't care less about Starcraft, but I will probably get D3. Blizz is usually pretty good at scaling for all systems, so I'm not too worried. We'll see though.

Yeah, a Kindle sounds cool. I'm a voracious reader so I think that would be cool and something I would actually use. My chair is ok for now.

You might be able to get a used electronic kit to beat around on for a condo. Personally : I hate electric but the reality of apartment living has made me change my view on it somewhat. I'd still prefer a regular kit any day of the week, but in a sound-sensitive environment and the ability to play whenever I want? Electric is worth it.

A new Watch
Computer Upgrades (HD, Video, CPU/MOBO, RAM)
GPS or MP3 player
New Cell Phone? Or stock away for a pre like I am.
Sporting goods - new baseball glove, hockey stick, hockey skates, buy a basketball hoop and learn to shoot?

OR you could go window shopping at the mall - only actually spend cash on things you like. You know the range you want to spend, you can probably go through that in a day if you're going impulsively.

and of course you can be "responsible" - Pay off debt if you have any. Or take care of something that will need to be taken care of soon (or already should have been) ex: car or home maintenance/insurance premiums/etc.

You can't get it here. Well not the kindle 2 anyways. The cellular service won't work and unless you have a US credit card with a US address you won't be able to order one...

A painting (or collection of paintings) that you really like?

Art's one of those things that I always want to pick up for different rooms in my house, but just too damn cheap to actually break down and do it.

No problem ... I'm not playing too well right now either. If not the golf clubs, I'll second the MEC idea ... I'd love to go in there with $500 to spend as I see fit on gear.

Well that french copper studio is in north van IIRC. Their stuff is bloody expensive, but it's copper with a tin cooking surface, which is apparently better than stainless steel.

Also, you could get a couple of nice Shun knives. Buy them online though as you can get them much cheaper than at local stores.

The watch is something I actually kind of need. I like my current watch and it has a lot of sentimental value, but it is starting to act up a bit, so it may be time to make a change.

Electric kit sounds cool, but I honestly barely have enough time to play my bass (I make sure to practice once a week at least, but it's hard sometimes).

Most everything else I already have (Blackberry, GPS, Zune, basketball and the courts are right outside) or don't need.

A good idea and my girlfriend would absolutely love this. I think I may wait until I either move or renovate though.

Good suggestion though.
