So ever since WoW days, I severely struggle to play anything without a community. Only problem is.. Now I get bored of everything. I generally accomplish what I want, then grow distant from the game.
See below for bragging accomplishments just for what I'm trying to say. May help you understand.
I was hoping Overwatch would be the saving grace, but with the lack of community I'm having a very hard time getting into it. Plus there is nothing to really accomplish, and to me.. That's boring.
Anyways every time I achieve my goal in a game. I instantly "shut down" from it because there is no community to tie me to it. I struggle to play anything solo player because there is no competitiveness. It literally feels like I am wasting my time if I can't show my success.
From brief scrounging the web, seeing what's out there the only thing I really seem to be interested in is Lost Ark. And who knows IF that even comes to US. So what am I missing, what can I play? What has that strong sense of community that can keep me attached?
WoW I was in a top 25 US guild up to WotLK. Got bored, haven't returned. (nor do I want to, because the way the current game is the community has seemed to of vanished)
Tera was in the top 3 PvP guild, then quit during vanillia. I'd like to maybe try this again, but it's a bit dated now and the community flight concerns me.
FF14 ARR (hard to rank) but I killed Turn 5 pre-nerf, one of the first 20 LS to do so. Left this game simply because there is no community. It's too designed for ~5 friends.
LoL Was Diamond 2, then got bored. No longer interested. Community is too toxic, hard to really be "friends" with many people on there. Most aren't there for that.
