What should I see while I'm in LA?

I took a contract in Los Angeles, what should I see while I'm here?

My apt is in N. Hollywood, so I guess I have to hit the Universal Studios since it's so close.

Am thinking I have to see the San Diego Zoo, what else is cool, fun?

NBC Studio Tour;
Venice Beach;
3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica;
Santa Barbara Zoo;
Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood;
Dodgers game (with MotionMan as your guest);
Michael Jackson's Family home on Hayvenhurst in Encino

car rental place so you can leave when you can...other than Orange County, Newport Beach, Laguna etc, the rest is gag city. Drive to La Jolla or out to Joshua Tree or something...

Actually I find the view out the plane window on climb out from LAX to be quite pleasing.

Unfortunately my job requires periodic visits to the LA area. If if were not for that I'd be perfectly content never to lay eyes on it again for the rest of my natural life.

Crap....I just remembered I have to be there next week.
