What Should I Upgrade?

[*]I'm happy with my Video Card. It doesn't make noise and it can run everything fine.
[*]I'm unhappy with my case. I would rather prefer a Cooler Master Praetorian instead.
[*]I'm satisfied with 512 RAM, but 1GB would be way better.
[*]I'm satisfied with AXP + A7N8X Deluxe, but A64 would be better.

Well... I'm getting $160 and I wonder what I should upgrade...

Possibilities :

1) Get Cooler Master Praetorian Case + Nec 3500A DVD Burner.

2) Sell My CPU + MOBO And get A64 3000+ / DFI nF3-250.

3) Get another stick of Corsair XMS 512MB PC3200 + Nec 3500A DVD Burner.

4) Other.

You already have an Nec 3500A correct? Why get another? Limited funds you have so I say go with the NEC and the stick of RAM. Wish I could give you some $ and really send you some upgradable advice lol. g-luck

Your system overall looks pretty good. If possible and if it's not too much trouble, attempt to upgrade to the A64 and later 1GB of memory. You should be fine after that. You should see better performance from the processor alone.

If you dont' care about the best and latest processors I recommend an A64 3000+ OC'ed to wherever you can get it at. Which mobo is your choice and depends on what you want. I hear MSI has got the best 939 socket mobo right now and should carry that 3000+ a long ways.

The rest of your system looks great. Good choice on the dvd burner. I read it's one of the best ones right now.

It's hard to say as you don't tell us what you use the computer for. Most of your stuff is old. Case would be last on my list.

id say get the ram and burner. wait till the socket 939s go down in price to get a new mobo/cpu. the case doesnt really have anything to do with performance. if your room is clean and ppl around you (physically) that would admire your case, go ahead, but if your like me, my case just blends into its surrounding of junk, and i do ahve a nice case
