Of all the things I've done, having that first child (ok, so the wife did all the real work) is the absolute coolest. But of more singular achievements, hang gliding, getting into space, scuba, safari, all seem right up there.

May through August is the best time to go whale watching in the Juneau region.

On our tenth anniversary, (coming up this November) my wife and I plan to go to Kemi, Finland and take the Arctic adventure on the Sampo. We're not sure if we'd prefer dogsledding or snowmobiling during our trek, however. Perhaps we'll do both! I love the cold!

this is so much fun, they are amazing animals! if you are short of cash, a good substitute is the SeaWorld program which is like $250 bucks and you get to come up close and personal with the killer whales.
