What singleplayer games have you completed more than a few times?

Same here. I just can't replay a game for very long. The closest I've come was Far Cry and Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. Both of those I got about halfway.

I really wish I could replay my games.

I actually got tired of Vampire the Masquerade about an hour into it my FIRST time. Does it get better?

it is easily the equivalent of DeusEx ... RPG-type games usually all start "slow"

I've played through Half Life 2 proper roughly 7 times now. Twice on Normal and the rest in Hard. It's crazy because it's so linear. But I just love so much about that game and love experiencing the atmosphere, for me, that is just doesnt get dull. I know--it's a little weird.

Just reading through this thread again and I realized after seeing your post that there is one game I've played through twice. KotOR I. I played once light side and once dark side.

Meh, i didn;t like crusaders or Wizardy 8 as much as Bane. I hated the fact that Crusaders didn;t let you import all your items from Bane. I rememebr sitting there for hours restarting the game so that my muramasa blade from bane would come in with other random equipment from my bane characters

That said, I played through both Crusaders and Wizardy 8 2 or 3 times each.

Also, i still load up bane every now and then (have to run a patch to slow down my pc so that it will run). Its fun to reminisce about when supercga graphics were the shiznit. Than again, I am an antique game afficionado. I probably have ~1500 old games, most with Manuals and Boxes. My wife hates it, but some of them are worth quite a bit of $$.

Seems like turn-based strategy, real-time strategy, and RPG's rule for replayability. I guess that is no surprise given that they can have multiple endings and branching storyilines (or different maps/AI behavior in strategy games)

Surprised that a lot of people played FPS's multiple times; after the first play-through, I get bored (with the notable Doom I and II exception, along with CoD)

Far Cry, Diablo 2, and System Shock 2: 5 times
Baldur's Gate 2, Deus Ex 2, Hitman: Silent Assassin, Hitman: Contracts, and Tyrian 2000: 4 times

Deus Ex is by far the sp game I have played the most. Upwards of 50+ times from beging to completion

It been years since it came out and I have yet to find a game that comes close to comparing to it.

Deus Ex: Several times. Went through many variations of a combat JC Denton and a stealth JC Denton. Have tried going through without killing anybody but I cant do it.

Baldurs Gate 2: Once with each class of PC and now with multi-class PC's. I know this game a little too well.

Act of War: A few times.
Dawn of War and Expansions: Several times.

Disciples 2 Gold: All the campaigns twice. That might not sound like much, but its the equivalent of going through all the campaigns in HOMM 3 Platinum twice. Thats a LOT of hours invested in my brain being stressed.

Master of Orion 2: Have gone through about one hundred Huge Universe games.

Duke Nukem 3D: Probably 30 times.
Doom: The whole thing: 30 times.
Red Faction: A dozen times.

Morrowind: The main campaign: Twice, one fighter and one mage.
The whole world with all the side quests: Once. And that was enough for me.
Oblivion: Main campaign I only finished once. At that was excruciating.

Dungeon Keeper 1&2: About 8 times each.

I can think of more later.

Unreal 2: At least 6.
Serious Sam 1st and 2nd: 4 each.

Knights of the Old Republic 1&2: 10 each. Despite the relative lack of class distinction, they're just so darn fun to play.
Jedi Outcast & Academy: 6 times each.
Dark Forces: 5 times.
