Why are you set on a Galaxy S4? There are a lot of great phones that are better then the Galaxy Nexus that are less than that. The HTC One, Moto X and the LG G2 being a few examples. Hell, if you could get in on a verizon plan (non prepaid) and it had LTE I'd even argue the moto g is better.

Interesting choice. How is it?

Excellent for the most part. It has a few quirks but nothing that is a show stopper. All the functions like GPS work, its compatible with all the apps I use, and the performance when playing games is good. Since cellular data is always off (but not WiFi) the battery life is also good.

Of course it will never get an OS upgrade unless I use a custom ROM (it comes already rooted). Nor does it have any cool accessories like other phones do.
