I've been on a moderate weight loss program since mid summer (15lbs lost so far!). It involved moderate exercise (a cardio kickboxing class twice a week plus running) and a pretty major change in the way I ate. One of things I changed was to eat more often to keep my metabolism up while avoiding, high net carb, high calorie foods.
In my drawer right now:
Dried apricots (for the vitamins and extra fiber)
Roasted soy nuts (High in protein and fiber)
Roasted mixed nuts (High in protein and healthy fats plus they are nice and salty)
Bulk granola -- usually to mix with yogurt in the morning
Unsweetened apple sauce
Cup o' noodles (in case i forget to bring lunch)
I also keep staples like salad dressing, cheese, yogurt, cooked chicken breast, etc in the office fridge to make easy snacks in case I get hungry.
What do you do for daytime snacking at the office?
