What speakers.....?

Hi, I'm new to the forums, anyway what speakers would you recommend me getting? I don't really know what brand or whatever is good, I'd just like something under 100 dollars that is alright. Any suggestions?

I have an audigy mp3 and I mainly use it to listen to mp3s and play games such as quake 3 and counterstrike.

Any set of Logitechs you can afford would be your best bet. I have the cheapest ones and they are amazing. (z340)..great quality, great prices

I suggest you check out 3Dsoundsurge.com.

If you want a 4.1 system, I highly recommend the Boston BA7800s. They can be purchased for $200 from Gateway. Mark, chief editor over at 3dss.com, will post his review of them eventually. He's been quite busy with a full-time job, a wife, switching to new servers, a web site re-design, an nForce2 review, etc.

JMHO... if you really just want something that works, then the Logitechs will fill the bill... several sets under 100 beans that will give you decent sound, but if it were me and I was really willing to spend $100, I'd search (PriceWatch, etc..) and find a set of Altec-Lansing ADA 880's still left in someones inventory ... These are awesome 5.1's (front and rear left/rights, center and a monster sub-woofer) with absolutely amazing sound... A couple years ago when these were "the kind", they sold for over $300.
