What states have a annual car tax?

I've just paid mine last week, not a trivial amount at $365, I hope they do get rid of it! The amount goto the town/city you live in for (supposingly) keeping the road and streets in shape.

Not only do I have to pay an annual outf^ckingrageous fee on my car tag every year I had the great fortune of living in the county that charges the most. This in the lovely state of MS.

i feel you miri, i used to live in Hampton Roads. i hate the car tax. i still have to pay it while i am over in Europe working. my car sits at my parents place in Virginia. at least it is not as bad as it used to be. i cannot wait to move out of that state when i get back.
