What team will sign Vladimir Guerrero?

Baltimore is still the 'leader' at this point...their GM is the same GM who originally signed him, and he is buddies with Tejada......his choice would be Florida, but they can't afford him....I'm surprised there hasn't been more activity and talk about him.....fantastic player.

yes i will admit there was quite a bandwagon, and i'd be lying if i said my liking for them didn't increase 5 times over during that amazing year. But i've always been a fan and followed them through the years of misery and defeat. There's nothing better than going to the freeway series games, cause you're guaranteed to go home happy.

Ha ha ha, the Giants are trying to cut payroll, not increase it. Juan Encarnacion did not "take" Vlad's spot either, Encarnacion would play CF, Green would play LF and Vlad would have RF.

Who do I think will sign Vlad? Well it's pretty much between Baltimore and LA at this point. LA has the cash... but theu also have a possible new owner and a fvcking retard of a GM Dan Evans so while it pains me to say it, its unlikely they will sign him (but here's hoping!)

I thought Odalis Perez for Gary Sheffield was a brilliant move.

He was also one who petitioned to keep Gagne and make him a closer. This guy is a genius.

He also just got rid of that underachiever Kevin Brown.

If Dodgers are able to get Vlad and a decent bat at either 2B or SS, then I'll put in my vote for Evans for GM of the Year. It's hard to see someone like Kevin Brown leave after he had such a great year with one of the best ERA but in the end, I think, it was necessary.

Kevin Brown is like Manny Ramirez, a world of talent but lack the drive and intensity. He seems very unmotivated, was injured several years and not a clubhouse leader.

Hah. Perhaps in his prime (ten years ago) he was good, but today? Not worth the money he's asking. He's an ornery old man who pitched few games, required his own personal catcher and refused to pitch to one of the top offensive catchers in the league and he was overpaid.

I'm glad we got rid of him.

Who cares if Maddux wants his own personal catcher. He was the best pitcher on the staff last year for the Braves even though he is old and overpaid. He can have his own catcher if he wants. Javy Lopez had a fluke season anyway.
