We're not getting snow at all this year. Just ice rain. Snow may or may not be arriving in mid January.

My area is expected to get 4-8" of snow tonight into tomorrow. Had an ice storm yesterday. Spent two hours scraping the driveway, but my house/walkway/yard/bushes are probably still encased in ice.

24F and 66F. I've got the patio door cracked open to get some fresh air in here. It gives that awesome juxtaposition of cold air rushing in on my legs with warm air on my arms and face. Great little microclimate for watching the projector and working on the laptop.

-34 with -42 windchill outside.

22 here in the office.

Seem to be getting January/Februrary weather right now. I won't complain though, I'll take this over the wet/rain crap we were getting earlier in winter.

6F out, 68F in (just turned the heat down to 63F since I'm going to bed in an hour or two). Getting a nice cold snap this week! High of 20F and low of -1F.

Excellent question. The thermostat for our wood furnace says it's 66F but I just set the gas furnace to 69F and I think the room is actually closer to that. :hmm:

Outside it seems to be around - 12C.

59 inside. I shut off the electric heater and now its freakin cold in here!
Central heat keeps the top floors nice and toasty but trying to contain heat in a 3 level townhouse is just ridiculous.

13 outside.

Holy fuck that nice indian summer sure tricked me. Not long ago we had a 65 degree afternoon. That was just mother nature messing with us.

On night shift, my furnace at home just kicked on since I'll be home soon.

Living Room: 13.125°C (+)
Hallway: 14°C (+)
Server Room: 17.375°C (+)
HVAC Return: 18.1875°C (+)
HVAC Supply: 52.75°C (-)
Outside: -25.875°C (=)
Delta Temp: 34.5625°C

22C here at work. It's cold enough that the heat here actually has to kick on once in a while. Normally the equipment keeps the whole building warm.

Damn cold outside. Damn cold.
And aint too nice inside either. I think we're gonna need 3M film all over the damn house.
Also its dry. The inline humidifier doesnt work for shit. Never has. Mother refuses to believe me. We really need a good humidifier. Like one in each room.

12 out, 54 and dropping in. I turned the thermostat down, and will build a fire soon.

I got a Desert Spring inline humidifier. Works quite well. I only set it to like 15-20 in this weather though otherwise the windows freeze up. It somewhat helps with my psoriasis. I actually noticed a difference in past few days as I set it a tad higher.

My house is super inefficient. Mostly the main floor. When they built it, they never used tape on the vapour barrier. One of these days I need to remove all the drywall and redo the vappour barrier. Big messy job though, but at least they used nails so it does make it easier to remove. I got a new patio door a few years back so ended up doing that section. Some places were missing insulation completely.

My house is hugely inefficient, That's the way I like it. I want a good mix of outside air to keep things fresh. My curtains move when it's windy :^D
