Was a warm day today, went up to 20. Probably one of the last hot days of the year as it's going to cool off from this point on. Suppose to start snowing by tomorrow evening, though it says the temp will be 4 degrees, so it's probably just going to melt right away.

I put my A/C unit away the other day given I had not used it in almost 2 months. Cat was happy since she can go sleep on the furnace air supply vent now. The A/C unit was blocking it.

Well the cold weather is on its way. 70f inside, and 59f outside. was 64f about an hour ago.

Just took the 2 window unit air conditioners out of the windows and closed the windows
tight for the cold season.

About 2 weeks ago I got the oil boiler furnace running, changed the inline filter and cleaned
the burn chamber. I do not like it colder than 67f inside the house.

The forecast for Sunday is Snow in the higher elevations not too far from here. ugh

Yeah I decided to stop playing those games, if I'm cold I just put the furnace on. Been running it on and off since pretty much start of September. I used to make myself a rule that I don't turn it on till the house drops to 15 but it's the mornings that are killers. It feels about 10 degrees colder than it actually is when I'm tired.

I'm not at the point where I input my work schedule into my thermostat, as I only turn it on as needed, but it's getting close to that point.

When the inside gets to 66f then it is time for me to turn on the furnace/ oil boiler.
