What temp to trust from Speedfan: Core or Temp2?

Ok, I am going to overclock the system in my sig, MSI Neo2 with a Winnie 3000+. I am using Systool and Speedfan to monitor temps. According to BIOS, Systool, and Speedfan "Temp2" the CPU hovers around 36 degrees and mid 40s during gaming. But, Speedfan also has a "Core" temp that is says reads of a CPU sensor, not MB. This consistently reads a few degrees lower than the other (Temp2, Systools CPU temp) temps read of a MB sensor. Which should I trust? I read that the "Core" temp should be higher then Temp2 b/c one is on the chip, the other below it. Is 40s during load already a sign that I won't be able to OC much? Some have reported problems with sensors on this board, but from what I've seen it seems to be fine, but of course sensors are never that accurate. What should I do? What is the highest safe temp to look for when i OC?

I have had lots of problems with speedfan. It gives accurate temps on my rig in my sig (sorry, couldn't resist), but it gives me an 8-9c idle temp on my computer at work. My office is a little chilly, but I don't think that it's quite THAT cold. I have heard several people state that they get about 15c lower temp on speedfan than their mobo monitor (asus probe/coretemp/etc).

speedfan is the best to use but be mind ful of it.

speedfan never does read the core temps properly. not on a single core, not on a dual core, not intel or amd.

Thanks for the warning, but since speedfan seems to match systools, maybe it works well with my rig. The big thing is the "Core" temp verus the "Temp2" or "CPU Temp." Shouldn't the Core temp off the AMD sensor be HIGHER than the CPU temp off the mobo? CoreTemp and Speedfan both show about 34 at idle, while the censor off the mobo is around 36 idle.
