What temps are safe to trust?

You can see my actual rig specs and my mobo config is:

CPUv 1.45
Memory 2.1
FSB 1.40
HT 1.2
PCI-E 1.5

I have installed my E6750 today and ok`ed to 3.2Ghz, prime95 is working fine since 30mins, the temps readings on load arent equal. The Nvidia temp monitor and the Mobo health status mark 60c-67c, on the other side the TAT and core-temp .095 said 42c-43c.

What Im doing wrong to get so difference between both readings?

Coretemp is correct. Make sure you have 95.4 or 95.6 version though.

If the TjMax in your Core Temp is showing as 85 then you need to add 15 on to the temps it's showing you, and then it also correlates with the other information you have. Get Core Temp 0.96, that has the correct TjMax of 100, and the temps it responds will be 15deg higher.

DAMN! That sounds bad, then the nvidia temps must be correct, and Im doing something wrong, I will check it tonight.

I'm getting somewhere, but I don't know where haha. I bumped the volts up on everything and it's now running orthos at 3.32GHz. I'll knock them back down one by one and suss out what it was that needed the extra volts.

3.32GHz (8 x 415MHz) / 1.40v +0.20v DDR2 +0.20v FSB +0.20v MCH / 33,35 / 56,56 so far

I apologize I was inccorect. You do need Version 96.4 or 96.6. I had thought it was 95.4 or 96.6.

I think you were right, 0.95 beta4 and onwards or something. I said 0.96 because that's what I have and it removes confusion making sure you have the right beta etc

Dont worry anymore!!!!! I bought it yesterday but I have sold it a couple of hours ago to a customer, so the Q6600 is comming!!!
