What the heck... just bought an Antec P180B and cant figure out anything...

I have built my fair share of computers (~8?) and this case, even though beautiful, is the hardest... it didn't come with a manual for some reason? The box was sealed and all so I don't know why it doesn't have a manual. Anyways, anyone want to point me to a P180 guide? I am confused as heck.

Hmm, some of the stuff is different than the P180B? And that manual is pretty confusing itself... bah!

Ok unless the 180B and 180 have significant differences, Newegg has shipped me a used unit, probably RMAed and I am pissed. My case didnt come with a manual / warranty card / VGA duct / etc. ?

The P180b is not the same as the first P180. For one thing, the VGA duct was removed and also the front door was reinforced with a layer of metal on the inside. I don't think you need to return your case, just look at the online manual and see the spcr.com website linked above for some great installation tips.

New regular ones have the metal on the inside as well, but they still have the VGA duct. OP, if you have any specific questions, let us know, there are a ton of us with P180s.

Well Antec is very strange. For one, we ordered a new case for a client of ours and they put the screws and standoffs inside obscure places lol. This particular case we received had it in the back of the case where you normally screw in the expansion cards. There is a plastic piece that covers that area and inside there, the ziplock of screws/standoffs were stowed away nicely. At first I thought wtf, no standoffs? Antec is falling off.

It should have come with a manual, but part of the reason we put the PDF's on our site is in case the factory messes up and didn't include a manual on any given run.

P180B does not have the duct. We listened to people who said it didn't work and/or made more noise so we got rid of it.

We haven't included a warranty card in years. They're a waste of paper. Keep your receipt/invoice and you're covered by our warranty. No need to fill out anything with us.

Nocturnal: I think you're referring to some of the SLK cases which had the external hardware holder. PD thought that this was a good idea, some people like it others don't.
