"Tiger Tail - or -“Tiger Tiger”, depending on what area you’re from is an orange-flavored ice cream with a black licorice ribbon running throughout."

Hope it tastes better then it looks!

TIGER TAIL ICE CREAM RECIPE (Celebration Generation)

Too many Americans first and only exposure to licorice is nasty Russel-Stover black jelly-beans!

Tiger tail ice cream, also called tiger tiger or tiger flavor, is a Canadian orange-flavoured ice cream with black liquorice swirl. It is named for its resemblance to orange and black tiger stripes. Tiger tail is most popular in parts of Canada and not often found elsewhere. Created by Morgan Carr,[1] it is a distinctly flavoured ice cream.[2] This flavour of ice cream is offered by such companies as Chapman's[3] and Kawartha.[1] Tiger tail is considered a retro ice cream flavour and it has seen a nostalgia-related resurgence in recent years.[4]

It is a great flavour.

It's awesome. Everyone needs to try it.

Surprised at the pushback on Licorice Ice Cream/Jelly Beans. Reminds me of non-North American views of Root Beer, another awesome flavour.

The worst is Dutch double salt licorice. That's in the running for worst flavor of anything.
I love salty licorice, but the Finns do it better. It's *"saltier" than the Dutch stuff. I think Halva's my favorite company.

*It's ammonium chloride, not sodium chloride.

If I ever see it for sale I'll give it a go... I sometimes like licorice but only if I'm in the mood. (it really does look gross though!)

Too much salt and it ends up tasting like a saladito. Speaking of which, there for raspado places in Tucson where you can get saladitos in your raspado.

Yeah, I know, I had to look into it when I discovered that it tastes like sucking on someone's filthy sweat-soaked socks.

I used to snack on cookie dough straight from the tube in high school too. Good times. Well, mostly not, but that part was good, cookie dough and Mario Kart with a friend

I made something in the blender a while a go. Milk, ice, chocolate, sugar .... added a few cookies. Should have blended it before adding the cookies. They vanished completely. All the taste, none of the chunks.
