I like Japanese food, or German, Austrian sweets are great, french cuisine is marvelous, Indian cuisine is as well (although in small portions because usually the spicy taste is too strong for me), Hungarian goulashes are something I'll never get tired of.
What's the point about the ingredients? It's all about how you prepare them, not where are they from. My biggest problem with most American food (which is derivated from cuisines from all around the world) is that usually there's too much sugar or salt in it. Too much margarine in many cakes. Have you ever tried classic "Sacher torte" of Vienna?
I love a very high quality vanilla. That's classic and still my favourite.

only if i get sprinkles
I can't speak for the place you linked but most places offering more off the wall flavors are going to be small time and not use artificial flavors, will use real fruit, will locally sourced cream, etc. They are places that attract foodies that pay attention to that stuff.
If your complaint is you don't like odd flavors and just want basic that's fine but don't conflate basic flavors with being natural and more complex/odd flavors with not being natural.
If you want hazelnut or lemon you should be looking for gelato not ice cream in my experience those are far more classic as gelato flavors.

Except it's not, really. For starters, gelato is usually made with milk while ice cream is made with cream.well carbonara is pretty easy, just do it at home.
I don't understand going to the restaurant to eat stuff that has no risk of tasting bad if you try cooking it at home. But here restaurants are outrageously pricey so maybe it's a habit stemming from that.
Also gelato = ice cream, it's a literal translation.
What are you talking about?<atot mode>
I would never eat ice cream from a home machine. I was going to buy an industrial one, but I tried it and the ice crystals were just too big no matter how much I adjusted the air incorporation. I only eat ice cream made by using liquid nitrogen now. Everything else is disgusting.

I totally forgot I'm obsessed with ice cream. Yes, this is my stash.
You're a sore one, aren't you? I bet you weren't loved growing up.In the Persian Empire, people would pour grape-juice concentrate over snow, in a bowl, and eat this as a treat. This was done primarily when the weather was hot, using snow saved in the cool-keeping underground chambers known as "yakhchal", or taken from snowfall that remained at the top of mountains by the summer capital Hagmatana, Ecbatana or Hamedan of today. In 400 BC, the Persians went further and invented a special chilled food, made of rose water and vermicelli, which was served to royalty during summers.[4] The ice was mixed with saffron, fruits, and various other flavours.
Also you are all wrong. On account the REAL original flavor of "ice cream" is Grape.

Awesome! Let me know how it works out.
Frozen chunks of banana + vanilla + cinnamon + vitamix > ice cream

I'm not from California but I'd be surprised if there aren't HUNDREDS of places to get good gelato in SoCal.
so, we made some, and it was really good!
the minions made chocolate - we added some cocoa powder to the mix.
i made mint choc chip by adding peppermint extract and choc chips. it was super good.
the only issue was that minion #2 decided that he was tired of shaking the bag after about one minute. :\
so i was switching between his and mine and so all my chips sort of settled and froze into one part of my ice cream.
i took pics but i forgot the camera at home. i'll post em later. thanks again for the video tho, it was fun and minion #1 looooved her ice cream.
That only works if you generalize every frozen treat as "ice cream." Cream is right in the name, so if there isn't any cream in it, it technically isn't "ice cream."In the Persian Empire, people would pour grape-juice concentrate over snow, in a bowl, and eat this as a treat.
