B&J Peanut Butter Half Baked is a big weakness of mine. Also VERY few of them are actually any better then Haagen-Daz or Ben & Jerry's and most that I've tried are not as good. (just more flavors available)

I wouldn't even bother eating ice cream if that were the only option available. When I buy that kind of stuff, it's the $5 for a gallon plastic pail kind of stuff.
I've never tried Tillamook. As far as brands that are cheaper than HD/B&J, Gifford's makes several tasty flavors I quite like. Might be only in New England though, since they're a Maine ice cream company.I'm rather fond of this stuff!

I've tried it a few times after they began stocking it down here in NC at the local grocery store.I've never tried Tillamook. I concur, some of their flavors are just "fine", others are quite tasty.Gifford's is pretty good.... I've had it in Maine but I've seen it in Mass and occasionally in CT as well.
Tillamook is also really good provided you enjoy really sweet/rich ice-cream and lot's of crunchy-stuff added in. (like the Malt kind pictured earlier) Tillamook plain-vanilla however is nothing special unfortunately.
Jenni's also makes this...and I've tried it. It tastes exactly like you think it would: https://shop.jenis.com/ice-creams/everything-bagel-pint/Run, don't walk -- Jenni's Sunshine flavor. Hands down one of the best flavors I've had.
File this one under 'Good ol'.
Jeni's ice cream is awesome. Brambleberry Crisp is probably the best ice cream i've ever had.
Street food, ice cream in India. That metal cylinder thingie that he puts the ice cream on looks a wee bit rusty though.

You might drop dead, but the locals will be fine.

Safeway this week is BOGO free for TillamookI'm rather fond of this stuff!
I buy this brand of preserves as its one of a couple companies that doesn't use HFCS as the sweetener.Gifford's is pretty good.... I've had it in Maine but I've seen it in Mass and occasionally in CT as well.

What I like to do is try whatever brands plain vanilla first by itself and see how it stacks up to HD vanilla in particular. IME usually if the vanilla is tasty alone it bodes well for the more complex flavors.
I've yet to find ANY other brand's vanilla that I prefer to HD surprisingly and a quart of it goes for $8.49 even with inflation @ Stop & Shop.
EDIT: Lately I've been making sundae's using this stuff diluted with a little Vermont maple-syrup:

So, 6.99 for two.
I really like the Costco strawberry spread. Its sweetener is organic cane sugar.I buy this brand of preserves as its one of a couple companies that doesn't use HFCS as the sweetener.
