Oh I agree, internet is serious business

I miss ICQ. I'm probably in the minority there, though.
I also miss early anandtech forums (nothing against the current forums). The days with WombatWoman, before the whole episode with Dennilfloss. I even miss the days when Paulson almost became the new Nef. Those were always fun threads.

I still use ICQ every day all day.
Now gimme early Powwow. That program simply predated itself. Was simply amazing at the time and beats most current chat programs hands down.

I'm still waiting for that money that I "earned" on those sites.. Those were good times.
As for the topic, I miss the old ebay and the old yahoo! auctions.

I miss all the crazy deals e-tailers had going on when they were just starting up. Deals are harder to come by now.
I also miss my first internet love affair. I've learned a lot since then, but it was fun while it lasted.

I miss the original napster, when it had an integrated chat client. It was nice to talk to people while exchanging music with them, plus I hooked up with this chick with huge tits who gave me my first blowjob ever
she had shitty taste in music though..
edit: romp.com was cool too. Pedro the gypsy was my favorite.
