So I ordered a Samsung 840 Pro 512 GB SSD and was wondering what is the best practice when I get it:
Shall I replace it with my current Liteon LAT-M256MS and install Windows fresh and partition it using the Windows manager?
Or is it better to keep my current OS, install the Samsung Partition software that comes with it, and let it do the magic?
But if i'm gonna do the 2nd way, will the Samsung software allow me to partition the drive and do the over provisioning for me automatically even if the drive wasn't physically in the laptop and rather connected via USB?
Does it come with a USB drive enclosure like the Kingstons do or not/ I have one anyway from my older Kingston SSD but was just wondering
kthxbye :whiste:
