What to do with extra CRT monitors

I picked up 2 working CRT monitors, 2 for $1 - look like 15 or 17" screens
They wont fit on my desk for a 2 or 3 monitor setup
Anyone have any ideas what to use them for?

I remember back when I was a sophmore in HS, I came to the school a few days before the term started to help get the building ready. THe computer lab guy had some extra monitors that needed to be thrown away, so I took them up to the third floor and threw them out the window into a dumpster, hehe, good times.

I've been in the exact..situation...but I didn't have a 3rd floor to throw them from T.T

Systematically take them apart and see if you can find anything interesting

Take them apart. Take out the electron source coils and get a ~2 ft long metal tube. Put a coil at one end and seal it. Then put the electrode hooked up to the flyback transformer at the other end and seal it. Then make a port for a good vacuum connection, seal it, and evacuate the tube. Then make sure you're not touching it and run some current through the coil and charge up the flyback transformer.

You've just made an x-ray gun

Perhaps put them out on your street with a FREE sign on them.
