I kind of have a love/hate relationship with mine. It's not really so much a fryer, as it is a turbo convection oven, so you have to adjust recipes so that they don't dry out. It's really good for frozen foods, especially ones that have been previously deep-fried & are ready to bake: chicken nuggets, fish sticks, French fries, taquitos, etc. So if you like frozen convenience foods or cook for kids, it's a pretty good kitchen gadget to have. Again, because it's really just a faster convection oven (i.e. an oven with a fan, and in this case, a high-speed fan in a small container so it heats up quicker & cooks quicker), you can't really "fry" with it. Some people spritz oil onto the food (like with a
Misto pump) to get a fried-esqe effect; you can get a crispy coating, if you find the right recipe procedure, but don't expect it to be magically "deep-fried" like they advertise. You can also make interesting things like
avocado fries in it.

One of the things I consistently use it for is reheating homemade quesadillas.
This recipe will change your quesadilla game forever. Cook a quesadilla with your favorite filling, let it cool, slice into triangles, and flash-freeze on a Silpat-lined rimmed baking sheet for a couple hours, then vacuum-seal. To reheat, airfry at 400F for 6 minutes. Makes the crust puff out like a pizza puff & is actually more fun to eat than when they are fresh! I keep a healthy supply of a variety of flavors in my freezer at all times for convenient snacks; they're really good with various dipping sauces!
