What to do with some old medical lab equipment?

I went and picked up two pieces of medical lab equipment from two clinics that got new stuff, I was told do just get rid of it. Before I throw it away I wanted opinions on what to do with it and if I might be able to sell it somewhere. They are Abbott Cell DYN 1800 hematology analyzers

They are worth over $4,000 used ... Some new clinic might want them from you at a good discount. Or maybe this place here will buy them from you, check and certify they are up to par and then resell them.

This one doesn't do too much. It measures the electrical impedance of blood and green LED light absorption. It does some volume measuring, dilution, and blood movement, but nothing really cool. It is a pretty old hematology analyzer.

looks like there's some leadscrews and steppers. maybe some fluid steering and metering valves if you're into that sort of thing. all of which are probably nicely way overspecced for hobbyist stuff.

The local university will occasionally have x-ray machines up for auction. Funny that one needs a license to buy one new but can buy a used x-ray unit buy waving cash at the auctioneer.
