What to get in S. Korea?

My MIL will be spending about a week at Osan AFB in S. Korea. She asked me if there was anything in particular I would like her to bring back. Are there any good liquors that are unique to Korea? Any other souvenir ideas?

Yes you can buy it here but it will cost 10X more. Plus they have all kinds of brands and packages there you can't normally find here.

Yes you can buy it here but it will cost 10X more. Plus they have all kinds of brands and packages there you can't normally find here.

10x? Nah. A bottle of soju in Korea is about $3-4 value's worth of 'american dollar'. If you buy a bottle in US, it's about $5-7.

This is 2007. Everything is a commodity thanks to globalization. You don't see a bottle of sake, scotch, or heineken costing 10x more because they're from Japan, Ireland and Amsterdam.

Soju is no different.
