Did hell freeze over!!??

She's not a myspace girl, she' my neighbor/buddy. EVERYONE is on myspace so it's much easier to grab pictures from there vs. having to awkwardly ask my friends if I can take pictures of them.

I am not on MySpace.

And I don't know you! Seriously, in my age group, in my city (NYC), it's the norm. And I don't carry around a camera, I don't take snapshots of my friends, it's kinda creepy. I took one picture of her while having dinner to link to her phonebook entry in my cell phone, other than that am I supposed to snap my friends? that's weird to me, unless it's like a birthday or something.

If you are trying to impress, make sure it looks like you put a little effort into your attire. Remember that some people can look like cr@p in a suit and that is no better than a stylish pair of jeans and a nice button-up shirt.

I was thinking:
1. black suit jacket (with a mild cross stitch, barely noticable), black shirt (solid), black or gray pants.

2, same suit jacket, black pants, gray turtleneck

Would that work? I'm not sure if turtleneck and suit jacket would work.

I also have my favorite blue dress shirt but dont' have a tie that would work with it. Actually don't have a tie at all, luckily my dad lives a few minutes away..

I would be careful about the turtleneck thing. It could come off a bit cliched. I would stick with option 1 or jeans and that favorite blue dress shirt.

( Uh oh. I fear that I have tread into the metrosexual realm of advice....okay.....just make sure you are comforatble with what you wear.)

You're right - it's a total cliche. Blue jeans + blue shirt = taboo? Or would a black blazer make it work?

You don't think posint YAGT's and threads about girls every 2 minutes is creepy?

If you want more proof, apparently I'm not the only one since someone actually shelled out duckets to make a website about it...which I wont post a link to. I think they went too far, but if some of these supposed girls saw these threads they'd completely think you were the biggest creep in the world.

No offense.

(don't you hate when people talk to you and include the words no offense)

Whatever, i'm not asking on how to seduce her. I'm asking how to dress to not embarrass her. Posted her pic to show why I care so much, her being fashionable makes me nervous. And you implied that I didn't know her - that I was just posting myspace pictures. My cellphone picture proved that I do know her, which isn't the point - I'm not bragging about her! I even tried to set her up with my bud as I don't think I'd have a chance in hell with her. How could I be more honest than that?

You're 10 times as annoying with always feeling the need to point things out that really aren't that true. If you don't like a post DON'T REPLY... or better yet, STAY THE FSCK OUT OF THE THREAD.

I know I'm not the best reader in the world, but this thread is just a "What to wear" thread and not a "YAGT", and you and your sidekick ScottSwingle are the retards that turned it into one.

Thank you, I appreciate it Yes, it's not a YAGT thread. if I was going out with one of my very fashionable gay roommates i would have posted a pic to show how they carry themselves, and the slobby picture of me in a ramones shirt shows how badly i need help with fashion.

WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT.

Your going to go to a fancy event with a schmokin hot Czech and you don't have a chance? Something is most def wrong here. If your nice and respectful enough that she can show you off then you should at LEAST have a chance, unless you are of another persuasion which would explain it all..........

Anyway, More pics when she is dressed up!

How old are you? You look at least 40 in your pic and that seems kinda old for StupidSpace.

Went dressed in black slacks, my favorite blue shirt, and a black blazer. Didn't look or feel out of place. She wore a chinese style dresS. Was an interesting night, met some nice people and might go karaoking with some people I met there tomorrow - groovy.

Here are awful cell phone pictures:
