What type of bicycle do you ride?

So just wondering what type of bicycles(non motorized) ATOT members ride?

I just recently picked up a vintage 1970s Green Sekine SHB 10 speed 27" and have been riding that around recently. It is a decent bike except I need to replace the fron tire as it is starting to dry rot.

1991 Specialized Allez Comp road bike with 105 groupo in excellent condition. It had a complete groupo replacement at 35,000 KM.

It served me well for many years however I haven't have much time for it in the last 8-9 years. I like to find a good home for it, but my nieces & nephews aren't interested in cycling.

I have four at the moment.

Winter bike doing insane winter-bike stuff (YouTube) (steel Gary Fisher mountain bike covered with reflective tape, running Nokian Extreme studded tires, Nova BULL rear strobe)

All-purpose road trainer/commuter/rainbike (Soma Smoothie ES with IRD Mosaic fork, DiNotte 140L taillight)

Off-road bike (Specialized Stumpjumper hardtail, custom parts mix)

Road-racing bike ('00 Paramount frameset, custom parts mix, now with some newer bits that bring the weight down to about 18 pounds)

Specialized has some pretty good 27" tires: http://www.specialized.com/bc/...d=EquipTires27&eid=355 The Armadillos are expensive but very tough.

I like the Paramount. :thumbsup:

When I bought my LeMond I was looking at some TI Paramount frames to build a bike around but I ended up with a steel frame LeMond Zurich made out of Reynolds 853 tubing. I had to have it repainted because it was in pretty rough shape when I bought it but I had it professionally painted and now it is a sweet bike. Weighs around 19lbs with a Campy 9spd groupo and Mavic Open Pro rims laced to Record hubs.
