What type of memory does your x1900xt have?

If you have an x1900xt (not xtx) and have taken off the cooler, then post the type of memory your card uses, and also the manufacturer of the card. If the code printed on the memory chips ends with BJ11, then it's the 1.1ns memory. If its BJ12, then it's 1.2ns. If you have not taken off the cooler or do not have an x1900xt then don't vote for either mem. I'm curious if anyone has gotten a 1.2ns card, because I've mostly seen 1.1ns versions.

It's strange, but I was under impression that XT's were supposed to have 1.2NS memory, yet they have 1.1NS, a real bonus.

But that also leads to the conclusion that XT's with 1.1NS memory may have been the ones that failed to be binned at XTX speeds, which may be indicative of poor overclocking performance.

That's why I got an XTX, but was sorely disappointed upon figuring out it would only bench at 780 and game at 760 on the core, but that might have something to do with a small burn I found on the PCB. Going to RMA it this saturday.

760Mhz core is bad? Thats 110Mhz overclock.. Id say that is pretty good. Dont be so picky, your next one may not come close to that.

No, it may not, but I'm not risking a burn. I see many XTX's getting 800... I am looking to hit that.

I've got the powercolor 1900xt, I have a profile set as XTX speeds and it runs flawlessly, temps are only ~1-2 degrees higher than that of the XT speeds.

oh and yes I have the 1.1 modules, I bought the card in Feb. I think.

Apart from everyone having 1.1 ... why are people actually voting "just show me the results" ? you do know that right beside theres a "view results" option? ...

Sapphire X1900XT 1.1ns ram (pictures to prove it).

I have as yet to see any XT's with 1.2ns ram too (excluding the reference samples).

Nah unless you're running vapochill, you're not going to see many XTX's hit 800. I top out at 770ish with water.

Ive heard that some CF Edition cards have 1.2ns ram. However, it was someone who "heard" the same thing. I havent actually seen any pics or someone claiming they have seen it themselves. I havent checked mine. I keep meaning to, but so far am just too lazy. When I get an aftermarket cooler of some kind, Ill be sure to check.

I know that the CF versions have come with 1.2ns before.

Perhaps you are right about hitting 800, but it's not going to stop me from trying - I have a legitamate reason to RMA my card, may as well use it as I might get a better clocking one.

Phrozin over at G3D has gotten his XTX to something like 840 on the core on water, and CO has gotten his XT to 802 on water! I'm hoping to be another lucky one..

Yep forgot about CF's supposedly having 1.2ns but I haven't seen any pictures confirming it either.
