It isn't showing anything pre-08 so I'm not sure, but I believe it was the jet black Enermax clone of the Chieftec case.

NEC DVD Burner Black IDE/ATAPI Model ND-3540A - OEM $41.99

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827152047

I really didn't buy much before and I didn't upgrade my old computer at all (except a CD-RW drive after I snapped my DVD drive with my knee).

I ordered my first comp off ZZF (then GoogleGear), before Newegg was all that great. So this is my second computer which I began ordering on 7/31/05.

Most recent order?

1TB WD Black + 500W OCZ StealthXStream + Zalman 7700 AlCu a few weeks ago.

Holy shit... I didn't know newegg was around in 2001 or 2002. O_O I didn't have the money to buy computer parts back then anyway. (Or a computer really)

I want to say my first thing I bought was an Arctic Freezer 64. I might be wrong. It wasn't probably.. Hm.. Jeez.. I don't know, really. Newegg won't load my history or my account for me. WTF :'(

http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16820211308 It cost me 33.16. O_O I thought it was a steal at the time. I still use the thing too, no errors... Well over 10,000 read/writes or whatever.

It was like Free After Rebate though.. I never mailed in the rebate; stupid me.

Anyway, I've spent like $4000 at newegg since that first purchase.

Actually, I just added it up and it was about $5784... O_O Damn! I spend a lot there. Haha. Anyway, I got all that money on my own. I made and sold my systems over the years, that's how I was able to get new ones like every year. Of course I always had to spend more to get a better system; sad.

Now that I think about, it's kinda crazy. I remember I had a RAID 0 at one point, and then I sold the second hard drive after a very short time. (I don't remember why, exactly...) I lost like $20 in the experience at least.

I want RAID 0 now. :'( I should just get another Western Digital GP 1TB HDD or two 1.5TB.

Heh.. I remember I made a Core 2 Duo system right as it came out and DDR2 was like $250 for 2GB. Woo... Yeah.. I got only 1GB(512x2) for an really expensive price back then, and when DDR2 was still expensive I later got 2x1GB. It's crazy how you can get it practically free now. My old system had an E6300 @ 3.2Ghz stable, that's faster than what I have now! I had to really clock that ram up there to get it. Hehe... fun. I had a POS video card though, X1600.

I hope you have a better power supply than that now.
You don't want to feed your computer crappy power.

Higher quality PSUs have better filtering, better undervoltage protection, more stable output, bigger heatsinks, and they're less likely to die abruptly, possibly killing other components in the process.

I really don't want to think about how much I've spent at Newegg over the years. It's quite a few thousand dollars though.
SVC.com also got quite a bit of my money.

I had a previous newegg account but i can't remember the login info. I wanna say i first started using newegg in 2001 or 2002.

I know my first computer-related, online purchase was from egghead.com around 1999 or 2000. I think it was a Slot A motherboard and an AMD 733MHz Slot A CPU, which was the first custom computer that i built for myself.

Googlegear.com (zipzoomfly.com) was one of the first sites that i used on a regular basis, back in the day. Mainly due to them having free 2-day shipping, and great prices too.

I was aware at the time and am now It served me well though. It wasn't a bad power supply at all. I have a Corsair 750TX now. (Wish I had the 620, it has those thin cables and is modular)

According to their records I bought an AMD Athlon 1600+ in 2001.

That means their records are not complete. I remember buying stuff from them before that.
