Bob Slydell: No! No, of course not. We always find it?s better to fire people on a Friday. It?s statistically shown that there?s less chance of an incident if we do it at the end of the week.

Fixed that for ya As stated above, it's less likely to cause a scene or worse.

i don't quite understand this. why would the person getting fired on a friday cause less of a scene than any other day?? is it because they are too tired out for the week, and if it was monday they would be fresh and rejuvenated because of the prior weekend?
and another question, about what time do they fire him/her?? is it at the end of his workday?? or the beginning?

this is making too much sense. i have a suspicion that i will get fired, and it will be end of day on a friday. should i even go to work that friday?? then just come back on monday and see whats up?? do you think they will change the security badge access before monday? or will they call me up and fire me over the phone?? im thinking if they have to do it in person, ill just show up next monday (nov1), in the morning, and then they have to take the chance of me going postal

Eh, either way once you're fired you're going to have plenty of time to plot your revenge.Originally posted by: Spamela
