Well....

In sixth grade (I was about 135 pounds in sixth grade) I had endured an entire year with a demented teached. At about the last month of school, she was acting crazy and I couldn't take it any more and got up to go see the Principal myself. She wouldn't let me out the classroom door, so I punched her in the face and she went straight to the floor. Mind you, I'm not violent, but she had pushed me to my limits. Then she got up and raced past me and told the secretary NOT to let me into the Principal's office. Seeing that as a dead end, I asked to use the phone and was told no... so I headed for the one pay phone in the school and the crazy teacher (Her name was Allnut..and it fit!) grabbed the phone and wouldn't let me use it... so I simply left and walked home. The school didn't even call my parents until I'd already been home over an hour!

The outcome of that one... after an investigation was that I got to be a "student teacher" with the second grade class for the rest of the year and no punishment ensued. I believe that was the last year that Mrs. Insane-Teacher was allowed to teach there.

In eleventh grade, some friends and I were headed to my friend's car to cut class and go smoke some dope. I was already pretty high on valium. A security guard stopped us and made us go to the Asst. Principal's office. I was REALLY upset, because I wanted to smoke some pot and they had gotten in my way... so when the Asst. Principal asked if we had anything to say, I said I had just one question... Who did you have to sleep with to get your job? My friends were FREAKED and just looked at me.

Result... the got to go back to class.... I got suspended for a week! Moral of the story? I don't know! I was wasted then and can't remember!

Joe

PS... I'm a VERY different person now.

I was in History class one day and during some free time I was looking at a National Lampoon magazine. That particular has slight frontal nudity for those that aren't familiar with it. Well, the teacher walks buy and sees one of these pictures and takes the magazine away. Class ends I leave the class and go get my books for the another class.

On my way to my next class I stop back by the History class. They are about to watch a video tape that particular day. I go into the class and remove the video tape from the VCR and tell the teacher that I'll exchange his video tape for my magazine. He tells me to put the tape back and get out of his class. I told him not until I get my magazine. He starts to chase me around his desk. We went around the desk a few times and he caught me when I got tripped up behind his chair. He grabs me by the collar and throws me up against the chalk board and tells me in front of the entire class, "I'm tired of your sh!t. Give me my tape and get out of my class!"

Being the big hearted guy that I was, I gave in, gave him the tape and left his class.

I got the magazine back after school was out that day. The history teacher and I had a love/hate (not THAT kind of love) relationship. I never did get in any real trouble for it.

I got detention about a half-dozen times in school. Two of the most memorable incidents...

1. Was sitting in the lunch room with a bunch of people from the football team (I was an interior lineman), and I accidently knocked over the milk of the guy sitting next to me. He threw it in my face, and then stood up and took a swing at me, hitting me in the side of the head. I half-turned in my chair, grabbed him by the waist, and stood up...and body slammed him in between the lunchroom tables. His head hit the tile and he was dazed, and I hit him once square in the nose. Then these hands came in around my waist, and someone tried to pull me up off the guy. Thinking it was his brother (who was a lot bigger than me, and was sitting right next to him when this started), I elbowed him in the stomach and then did a backhand smash move I learned in my JUJITSU class...Only problem was, the guy I clocked was a teacher?broke his nose. I got two weeks detention for that one.

2. On senior skip day, I met up with someone who had already left the designated meeting point of everyone who was skipping, and we went to a state park and hung out most of the day. I went home and told my mother that I needed an excuse for the day, and she gave me one. The next day, the Truant Officer called me in, all happy that he was going to get to give me detention for missing school, and I gave him the excuse from my mother. Since he did not see me at the meeting point (he was there with another teacher on a side street with binoculars for chrissakes), he could only assume that I had gone with everyone else. Without proof...he had to let me go. It was so funny.

Jesus with binoculars? These teachers get paid by commission or something?

Haha at my friends high school, I heard that their truant/security or whatever people were also like that. In fact, they called one guy the terminator cuz like he would actually try to chase down cars of kids that tried to ditch school. Plus he was like in the late 40's or 50's or something, hahahahhahaahahahaha. He also had binoculars. Man what a trip.

In my sophmore year of High School I was a big chess enthusisast. I played perhaps 200 games in a 3 month period, in my school's shop. One day I was watching a game, and pointed out a fairly obvious move that shifted the game drastically to the other's side. To my lack of luck, the loser of this move, a 190-pound, bald, Senior named "Chuck", picked up a pawn and winged it at a very delicate area for us males. The pain of this clouded my judgement and I forgot the following: I wieghed perhaps 140 pounds, making a fight between us a bit like Jabba the Hutt vs. Kermit the Frog... Anyways, against better judgement, I grabbed a piece from the board, a bishop, and launched it at this beast. It hit him squarely in the temple, leaving a slight indent where the bishops top was. The change in color of Chuck's face is something that I will always remember... the brilliant red that consumed him as he charged me down like a rhino. Needless to say I fled. As I turned a corner in my escape I ran smack into the principal. I luckly recieved no servier punishment from this but was silently banned from the shop and my chess playing days came to an end....

Gambling - Me and my friends flipped coins. One person flipped and then the next person did. If they matched the 2nd flipper got it, if they didn't the first did. We got into playing for more money and ended up winning about $100/week. The other 'big roller' lol flipped with a guy at his gym, who told his dad, who told the principal! I got 3 days OSS, and the other boy got 5 days OSS cause he denied it at first.

alright, since some of you posted stuff you did not get in trouble for...

in JHS, classmates and I gambled in the lunchroom. we were like playing poker for a dime or a nickel a game... this went on the entire year. some snitch told on us (class jerk), but teacher had no actual proof that we were actually gambling... except that we had cards and money (it was the lunchroom, so dimes and nickels were everywhere)...

Hehe, I got kicked out of my pre-algebra class back when I was in junior high (well over a decade ago ). All I did was eat one damned M&M! Hehe, I had to spend half of that year in in-school suspension during that class period .

By the way, Netopia, I had a similar incident. Only I was caught smoking the joint on the way out to get the valium . I also gave the asst. principal hell, and ended up having a long discussion with the principal (who just so happened to be a Deacon at my church). Net result: Suspended for a week, councilling for a month, two weeks worth of sermons regarding the evils of drugs, random drug tests for the rest of the school year, and months worth of lecturing from my mother. That incident taught me a great deal. I've always been more careful about where I light up my joints .

The worst thing I ever did in school was collaborate with a couple of friends to spraypaint the headlights on their science teacher's car competition orange. But somebody spilled the beans, unfortunately, and we ended up having to scrape the paint back off the headlights. That part of it was not very fun..... -kd5-
