I got 1300 when I was 14...and I just re-took it at 16 and got a 1550

It was kind of a bad idea though, because I got harassed for getting high 70's in school and "not reaching my potential".

If they make me go to school at 7:30 in the morning, they can damn well expect me to sleep through the first 3 classes...

Now I'm in college so it's a bit better than *yuck* high school

I got a 29 on the ACT too...good for college apps I'll tell ya.

Yea me too, I got an 800 on the math, 700 on the verbal, and I got one lousy scholarship. SAT's don't mean jack to anyone but the people who give em.

wow, i took that thing in '95... uh, i got a 1120 (on the third attempt... they went 1000, 1080, then 1120), which got me to NC State okay... so it really doesn't matter, right?

SAT is overrated. You're as smart as your common sense, IMHO.

I've seen plenty of nerds with high SAT and no personality or common sense. Now tell me, who's gonna get the job when interview time comes up?

I think it was 610 math, 740 verbal. The highest in my graduating class was a 1360 if that tells anything about the school...it was like a 2 year vacation when I went there.

MIT does not want ANYONE on the basis of standardized test scores. You need a heckuva a lot more than high standardized test scores to get in there. So, if it's true that MIT wants him, it definetely goes beyond his high test scores, sports, activities?
