a buddy of mine had a 65 stang with a little 289cu.in. high performance engine in it. Man, that stang would scream. I remember smokin an '86 Z28 with a 350 in it. It just begged to go fast. NIce score.

Datsun 510 stationwagon (not sure what year it was, probably early/mid '70's)
half primer, half faded yellow

the rear axle had been replaced with one from a pickup, it was too narrow, so i had to keep the air shocks fully extended (to jack up the backend) so that the rear wheels wouldn't rub in the rear wheel wells

there was no rear seat, just a wooden bench made out of plywood

it had an 8-track player with a single speaker and it came with one 8-track, ELO (Electric Light Orchestra) , that was the only tape i had , so i had to listen to it over and over

i drove that about 3 years, last 2 years of high school and one year of college before i joined the navy, ~'82-'85
