My dad's old Mac laptop back in 95. I was too young to remember the model name. But I learnt most of my basic stuff on that. Ironic that I find it hard to navigate OS 10 now.

Man, you guys are new-school.

The very first? The oldest one I remember being in my parents' house (that I used, anyway) was an IBM AT 8086 running at a whopping 4Mhz (I think, or maybe it was 2Mhz...)! Yay DOS 3.0 and 4-color CGA graphics!

The first system that was "mine" (in the sense that my parents bought it specifically for me to use, since I was in elemetary school ) was a Mac Classic (the old black-and-white "fishbowl" Mac), fitted with an external 20MB SCSI hard drive (which was the size of a large book and very noisy). Both are still sitting in my parents' basement, but sadly, I think the BIOS chip or RAM in the system is shot, since it wouldn't boot the last time I tried plugging it in (I got a frowny Mac icon.)

Commodore 64 with 1541 floppy drive.

Also did my first mod on the Commodore 64. Took an old SID chip from a broken C64 and put it in the other for "stereo" effect.
