What was your worst test score in college?

Damn you guys must have it easy. I got a 19 out of 50 on my last concepts of mathematics exam. The average score was a 20 something. 2nd lowest score was a 47% on a calc exam (average score was like a 59) Damn Carnegie Mellon math classes, and so much for my 4.0 gpa high school days .

Otherwise I got 0s in the exams I skipped.

In retrospect I should have probably gone to class more, or never enrolled ...

Fizzics exam probably. I may have dipped into the 50s. Such a shock. Hard to recall though as it was 10 years ago.
Ended up with a C in physics.

Got 46 in midterm in an engineering class and it curved to a B. I hate these cause you walk out thinking you've flunked for sure. Then when you get the result, you're relieved but then felt like you didn't learn anything. Forget high school - it was a joke compared to college even with all the AP classes.

48/100 on a EE exam. Average (for undergraduates) was 38, though, with a standard deviation of 10, meaning 48 isn't so bad (since it's curved). I'll let you know how I do at the end of this semester.

Missed my final in a cultural geography class my freshman year. Had I not been hung over and woken up for the 10am class, all I would have done is gone in and sign my name, take a 0 on the test, and still have enough to get a c-. I tried to go to the class 45 min late and the prof wouldnt let me take the test, so I automaticly failed for missing the final.

I went into my final for Communication 100 with a B- or C in the class. I busted my ass studying for the test. 2 weeks later grade come out, I got a D- in the class overall.

I never bothered to figure out how I did on the test, in part because the professor was let go that semester (which she totally deserved). The class as a whole seemed to have a grading problem; one of my friends saw her grade dip by a grade and a half because of that test; another gained a grade even though he didn't study. Definite shenangians going on.

i made a 4/100 on a calc one test. it was the grad students first time teaching, i made a 34 on the next test and changed the class to credit only. Not until after that was he reprimanded by the department head and started giving partial credit on tests and curves. i took it again over that summer and passed. this year...i made a 35 on my first calc 2 test, 75 on the next, 60 on the third, last one is nov 30. department policy in math and physics at NCSU is not to curve individual tests, only adjust final grades. therefore, these grades do not worry me in the least. i'll let you know how that turns out.

I had a VERY similar experience with my Pchem class. The guy had a reputation as the worst teacher in the department...I found out later:roll:

That I can remember, I think it'd be a 65%, in intro chemistry. Got a B in the class.
But then, they did fire that professor after just one semester. He had only just gotten his Ph. D. the spring semester before he started teaching in the fall. I guess he didn't know how to teach.
For what it's worth though, I didn't study one bit for that class. I had chemistry in 10th grade, and the residual knowledge was enough to suck out all motivation to study.


I'm in one class now where I got a 70% on Test 1, and it looks like about 60% on Test 2. My homework grade is something around 97% though.
I'll likely get a C in the class. I might manage a C+, and if I sacrifice 5 goats a day for the next month, I could get a B-, but I'd need a 99.17% on the final in order to get that. Maybe I'd better make it 6 goats a day instead.

46% calcII 85/70/55/40 scale, 3 of 5 tests done, 67% average

54% econ stats, didn't study for the test cause i hate the class, C- currently

I think around a 30% on the final for a graduate level analog circuit class. I ended up with a B (which translates to "you suck" in graduate school).

Yep. I got a 20 on a finance exam once. The high was in the 40s. The prof actually handed out the wrong test.

what is it with chemistry? I think it was pchem, forget now but def. chemistry, but I got a 15%. The average was in the 20's somewhere, I think I ended with a B or B-
