Dang, I'd keep that thing locked away if it's worth that much. $150 is probably the most I'd spend on a nice watch.

Congrats on your interest in horology. I am a wristwatch dealer and love a good mechanical timepieces. I deal in these...Currently I wear a '74 Rolex Oysterdate, '80 Rolex Presidential w/diamond face and bezel, a'55 Longines, etc.,etc. Over the years I've acquired a pretty nice collection and pursue any deal I can find. I highly recommend buying mechanical over quartz (battery operated) because their value increases over time much more significantly than do those with batteries.
That Sinn is a sweet watch. I've always liked the military watches. Sinn, Fortis, Bell & Ross and such. Pocketwatches are also very fun to collect although quite old school, I always get comments about them!!

Inspired by this thread. Lately I have become a watch afficianado, and I know there must be some other collectors out there. What's on your wrist?
Lately my Sinn 656 has been getting the most wrist time of my watches. My Bill Yao-modified Seiko SKX007 takes second place, followed by an early 60s Seikomatic Self-Dater I recently picked up off of Fleabay.

Wow. You all wear ugly and/or nerdy watches! I don't wear a watch.
