"What will Hillary's first 100 days accomplishments be?"

Who knows. It's just a stupid and shitty question filled with supposition that it is barely worthy of retort. Get back in a 100 days when/if She becomes President.

Like I said before, we all know that nothing of substance is ever accomplished in that first 100 days.
Maybe, "MAYBE" a few ideas can be proposed to congress, but actual change?
I don't think so. Not in 100 days.
Especially with this election, whomever should win had better spend 24/7 of that 1st 100 days bringing the country back together.
If either newly elect president could achieve that task, then that would be a huge 100-day accomplishment indeed.
Lets wait and worry about the bigger issues down the road.
After all, the new president will have over 1400 days to do or try to do everything they so desire, so it's silly to get stuck on that first 100 days.
And other than first bringing the country back together, I don't see any urgent pending disaster that needs such immediate attention or focus.
The Martians haven't attacked, and the earth isn't spinning out of control heading straight for the Sun.
Both of which might merit immediate attention on day one, but other than that....

This 100 day BS is just part of what is so wrong with the politics of today.
It just further reenforces the people's belief that the government cannot get anything done.
Setting the electorate up for a huge letdown on day 101.
So don't even bring up the first 100 days.
Don't even go there.

Maybe. Maybe not. Obama has turned immigration 180 degrees without any input or cooperation from Congress. Hillary will be in at least as strong a position. If the Dems manage to take the Senate too, then by the end of her first term we'll probably be seeing SCOTUS mandates for a lot of the far left ideas, like community standards, the Fairness Doctrine, and imputed income taxation.
The Dems are a center right party; why would they roll out far left ideas?

She may topple Assad in the first 100 days. I am assuming the Republicans would go along with her in this.

The GOP will filibuster her SCOTUS pick until the Dems are forced to go nuclear. She'll propose some new policies and maybe even a budget and the House will use those as toilet paper.

It would be pretty Hillary-ous if the gerrymandered house GOP idiots impeached her in the first 100 days.

I know what accomplishments won't occur..... any meaningful tax increase on the 1%ers and a reasonable tax placed on their estates when they die. Such horseshit. Could the Democratic candidate at least PRETEND to want to force the monied elite to pay their fair share? I remember the days when the Democrats were anti-war and pro taxes on the wealthy....

We need a class warrior that is on our side, not the oligarchs. I am hoping that we get one after Clinton leaves office. It is going to happen. It is only a question of when. Look at how well Bernie did with complete opposition from the Democratic establishment and little financing. Real change has to come.

Bill Clinton raised top marginal tax rates, so did Obama by letting Bush tax cuts expire. Not sure what you are talking about.

I'd expect a SC nominee (to replace Garland and/or Notorious RBG), and some of the following: tax code update, anti big business legislation, fighting off House GOP impeachment for not being a republican.

Clinton has already affirmed Garland & Obama's right to make that pick. If Repubs won't confirm him during the lame duck session she'll just submit his name again, I suspect.

McConnell said the pick belongs to the new president, not that the president doesn't have the right. She already made it & will rub their noses in it if required.

Obama for the Supreme Court

Can a former President even be nominated ?

I'd imagine there would be a restriction there, or it would maybe have happened in the past.

Constitutional Law was always his thing.

William Howard Taft was both president and later Chief Justice.

Read the site and I will give her points for getting the rhetoric correct. Her plan is not nearly as aggressive as I would like to see but it is certainly aimed in the correct direction. I will be shocked to the point of cardiac arrest if she actually implements ANY of that when she gets into office (given her ties to the uber-wealthy). Hopefully I am wrong. We will see.

More Hillary hate, huh? If what she wants doesn't happen it'll be because of Congress. It's not like she'll rule by decree.

It is important, I just don't think the Republicans will let her do much of anything.

A President Hillary still faces what President Obama faced.
Without 60+ votes in the Senate, there is no legislative agenda from the White House. Not much in the form of governing the country.
Only thing a President can do is use executive power knowing full well the other side cannot override a Veto.

So forget legislation, forget the law, it's what the departments of the executive branch take action on that matters.

For the most part I agree, although if the Democrats somehow take the House and the Senate I imagine the filibuster will be going away in short order. Hell, even if they don't take the house they might nuke it anyway. Taking the House seems like a long shot still so I imagine what you describe is pretty close. We'll get the same Obama treatment with an annual budget crisis/debt ceiling showdown unless she can somehow convince the less radicalized Republicans to join here in some sort of bizarro parliamentary coalition. I don't think that's likely to happen.

I think she'll definitely get a Supreme Court nominee in front of the Senate for confirmation in the first 100 days--she'll probably stick with Obama's nominee as a concession to the fact it should've been his pick to begin with, but I really hope she just flips a bird to the GOP and nominates a "radical progressive".

"Gambled and f**king lost, McConnell [or whomever the minority leader is?], eat a dick!"

If Clinton wins and the Democrats take the Senate my strong supsicion is that the Republicans will (hypocritically) attempt to confirm Garland during the lame duck session. I don't know if they will succeed or not but if they don't I expect Clinton to nominate a judge much further to the left than Garland. The Republicans will filibuster the nominee and then the Democrats will nuke the filibuster for SCOTUS appointments.

That's my guess at least. If they don't take the Senate I wouldn't be surprised at Garland or someone similar.
