first 100 days of illary ...

stock market will do OK
Unions will continue to be fucked and powerless and corrupt.
Politicians will continue to be morally bankrupt bribe taking scum sucking bottom feeders.
Capitalists will contine to own the politicians
It will be a bad time for most americans. The status quo will be maintained. A ship slowly sinking, still in tact, still possible to repair, but, sinking...

So, things will be much better than they would be under trump. (100 days under trump, we will be in civil war and also probably world war 3)

More Hillary hate, huh? If what she wants doesn't happen it'll be because of Congress. It's not like she'll rule by decree.

Ok I am marking this one. I have read more and will admit that I like her proposed tax modifications ALOT. I will give her full credit if she actually pushes for them and fails. I have a very strong conviction bordering on certainty that no such push will occur. It is better for my mental health to make this assumption now so that I am not bitterly disappointed in the future.

Pretty much...

...unless she can somehow convince the less radicalized Republicans to join here in some sort of bizarro parliamentary coalition. I don't think that's likely to happen.

Imagine for a moment, how likely a coalition against a President Trump would be.
And whether that legislative agenda would have been worth 4 years.

Very, very unlikely I think. Trump's actual policy positions that he has put forward are standard republican boilerplate for the most part. He would likely have happily signed whatever ultra right wing legislation came his way. Anything short of that wouldn't pass the House.

The problem with Trump is not his policies, it's that he appears to be mentally ill or at least mentally unstable, vindictive, massively ignorant, and easily manipulated.

Anyone realize what the unintended consequences of Hillary and the Clinton Foundation getting tangled up with foreign governments and accepting their donations could be?

If she loses the election, those men in those countries will have no further use for her and will kick her to the side of the road like a dead deer. She will have been a complete loss of their investments. They may be pissed and seek retribution. That is what you get when you play in the snake den.

Sounds like a Tom Clancy potboiler.

I like how he starts with "If" and by the end of his writing it's a certainty, thus the retribution is just. It's pretty funny to see someone make shit up on the fly and then watch them agree with it as if it's fact.

I bet he could tell himself his own bedtime stories except then he would believe them and be too scared to sleep.

Nah, just random thoughts.

Something involving the national debt and wealth inequality skyrocketing simultaneously I'm sure.

Something involving the national debt skyrocketing which only makes Russia/China stronger as we rack up a trade deficit while simultaneously talking shit about them.

Cause if there's anything that leads to good foreign policy its buying a bunch of shit from China to give away on credit.

Russia and China would love to see Trump elected for that very reason.

He might have reestablished his credit by now. I heard it takes several years after a bankruptcy. A friend said she saw him plop down a Centurion Card at a restaurant in Chicago.

He has been raking in the Rubles and Yen for a long time now I'm sure.

They are where he goes to for loans these days.

I thought everyone knew how Clinton's first 100 days went...it's been long reported, as it was here:

Hillary Clinton took the oath of office as the 45th president of the United States on Friday, Jan. 20, 2017, after defeating the thousandaire Donald J. Trump in the previous November’s election. Since F.D.R., the first 100 days have come to be seen as the defining moment of each presidency and are used to measure each new president’s accomplishments. Below are the highlights of President Clinton’s first 100 days as recorded near the end of her second term, in 2024, by her official biographer, and recovered from a deleted email in 2025.

Day 1:
Inauguration of President Hillary Clinton and Vice President Tim Kaine. Five minutes later, the G.O.P.-led House of Representatives begins impeachment proceedings. Bernie Sanders assures supporters that there is still a way he can win.

Day 2:
Revealed that Hillary charged the United States $500,000 for her Inaugural Address and refuses to release the transcript. A nation wonders whether Huma is really single now or if she and Anthony are just taking a break.

Day 3:
President Clinton appoints Katy Perry secretary of transportation. Perry will go down in history as the greatest transportation secretary since John A. Volpe and the hottest since Norman Mineta.

Day 4:
Donald Trump fires his wife and two of his sons, then hires the alleged sexual-harasser Roger Ailes as his new son, Donald Trump III.

And the rest of the days and accomplishments are here:

She may topple Assad in the first 100 days. I am assuming the Republicans would go along with her in this.

Are you saying this would be a good thing? Ousting Assad could be a disaster if his replacement turns out to be worse. Sometimes a power vacuum sucks more than a Dyson.

I think it would a horrible thing. Unfortunately the Democrat party has been overrun with warmongering neocons and the overwhelming majority support bombing the ever living shit out of the Middle East. I think I have died and gone to hell. Make no mistake, the blood we spill is on ALL of our hands. We are doing unspeakable evil over there.

Trump's tax policy isn't a problem? Really?

It's one area where he & the Repub leadership are in complete agreement. The financial elite shouldn't pay taxes. Taxes are for little people.

Trump's tax policy is horrible but so is every Republican's tax plan. Literally anyone that the GOP was going to nominate was going to push for a large, debt financed tax cut for the ultra rich. I was trying to denote how he was different and more dangerous than the average Republican.

I didn't really look but you must be kidding. That is the absolute worst thing in the world for America and I can't imagine anybody in the middle class supporting it.

Hmm well you probably should imagine it considering that's been a campaign cornerstone for every Republican presidential candidate since 1980 with the exception of GHWB.

You've clearly not been paying attention for the past 36 years.

Lowering taxes on the richest people in the solar system and allowing the corporations that they own and operate to poison the air, land, and soil, while outsourcing jobs, is the only thing the Republican party actually gives a fuck about.

Every other issue they simply use to get the paranoid chumps to the polling place every November.
