I have a horrible feeling we'll be pressured into working while we're driven.
Not drive, of course.OP said:What will you do in your self-driving car?
Unfortunately, that's not how it works. Back in the 50s people said technology would make it so we would work just a few days a week because we would be so much more efficient. As long as you get paid, who cares.... I'd happily work during my commute to minimize the time in the office
See how that turned out. We are now way more efficient with our time, but now we often work even MORE hours because we can do it anywhere.
Look around more than I can while driving, plan more routes to see more stuff.
You zombies with your eyes welded to your devices have no idea WTF is going on in the world.
You've got your self-driving car, and now that you don't need to pay attention to the road....
Nothing I love driving and it will be even better when the text sending, makeup applying numb nuts no loner have to do it.
Sleep.
Oh yeah a treadmill or bike in the car would be awesome.
Self driving cars will really be a benefit on longer trips though (2+ hours) where I'd like to just kick back and relax.
