What will you do when you get angry while playing video games?

I admit to dropping some f'bombs, talking smack to the characters, and letting out a primal scream from time to time (my wife hates that)

Pretty much the same here - although my wife yells at me if I yell too loudly at the game. Oddly enough that does not make the situation better

Haven't ever thrown or broken anything - just really loud f-bombs

I generally swear loudly and lament the incompetence of those on my team.

I'm trying to get take games less seriously, I've gotten a lot better then I was in my Dota days.

Actually what I do is stop playing a game if it pisses me off.. to me a game should be fun, I died plenty of times in Horde mode in Gears 2 and in spec Ops in MW2 and still just have fun.. I lol when I die sometimes cause it's good fun. To me that is a well done game when you even have fun when getting smoked.

But games like Assassins creed where Suckzio is a complete moron and won't jump to the next roof.. that's poor programming and not a game.. it's a torture device.

When I use to play online poker and lost a huge pot to a bad beat I would punch my keyboard, one time it was so horrible I took the keyboard and smashed it against a wall, then put my fist through a door. That was after losing a $500+ pot to some dumbass though...

The other day I was playing BC2 and there was a wookiee facing AWAY from a big group of enemies coming at us, I tried to get his attention but no luck, he was too busy taking potshots at guys across the map and we both got killed. Fucking wookiees. But it's not a big deal, you have good games and you have bad games.

Playing CS circa 2003, shot a bro with the AWP, saw the hit register via blood on the wall behind said bro, let off another round and due to CS's magical hit registry.. a center mass shot didn't do anything.. he in turn glocked me in two shots. I had full health+armor+helmet.
In a fit of rage I tore my mouse out of my computer and threw it across the room.

Nowadays I just grumble curse words.

Way back in the day while playing Doom II multiplayer I actually punched my monitor full on. It had an anti-glare screen over the top of it, and it totally shattered.

Over the years I've broke a few keyboards as well.

These days I just cuss and walk away for a few minutes

...not really. In all honesty, I don't really get upset. I may get frustrated and curse under my breath, but that's about the worst of it.

I got close to making an idiot of myself while fighting Flemmeth in DA:O, though.

I used to play Warcraft 3 TFT on an older model gateway laptop. I dont generally have terrible anger issues in games. I understand that its a puzzle to figure out or a skill I have to master... But darn it... My laptop would freeze sometimes at the worst parts of the game. The last time this happened I stood up, ripped the laptop off of its wires and chucked the thing into my closet. It lay there for a few months...

Now I rage sometimes during SC2 games. Generally I just vent about how overpowered zerg is in team games, but sometimes Ill flip my mouse and keyboard upside down, and I did throw my chair one time...

Usually a cuss or two (f**k, wft, or god damnit are my fav's), and maybe pound on the keyboard a bit, but not enough to damage it. I one time kicked my tower over playing MW2 multiplayer. That's when I decided to tone down the rage, and just take breaks when I find something frustrating.

When my raging starts to come a little more frequently than usual, then I know I'm starting to get too addicted. That's when I make mental notes on my playing time.

I never smashed anything though. I Might have thrown my controller across the room or banged my mouse a few times but then I'd immediately check to see if I chipped anything. Sucking at games is one thing but paying for things when you didn't have to rates much higher on my annoyance scale.

Banging a keyboard would get me frustrated to. Perhaps have a box of tissue next to it..
