of course i have no pictures of it as it is owned by the Lerner Family and they have security guards keeping you from taking pictures and you cant see the house from the road.

this is the #1 most expensive house in the cleveland area. appraised value.

however the appraised values seem to be much lower than what they are selling for.

so what can you guys get for that money?

Can we up the price a tad.?... I'd take this. Talk about downtown.

Where did you grow up? Brentwood? Belle Meade? Both of those places could easily reach 6.2mil. Hell, a half-acre lot in the Governor's Club costs around 600K-1.5 mil depending on the hole location.

I live in a fairly small community, and the most expensive thing on the market right now is $899K (3BR, 3.5BA, 12.8ac on Lake Lanier). Living in the South has some advantages, and low housing cost is definitely one of them.

In Manitoba you couldn't spend that on a house if you wanted to. I suppose you could just build some palace or something, but otherwise you'd never find a house to buy for that much.

6 million would be me an incredible beach front house, plus the golf course that's next to it. There are some incredibly nice houses in my area, but the nicest of the nice go for less than 2 million.

Oddly enough, I couldn't find a $6 million dollar house in my area.

I could buy this apartment building for $6.5 million.

Well realtor.com can't find anything much over 1 milllion dollars in my area. Plenty of $80k homes though.

San Diego (Eastlake area): The house we bought in September for 604k is now selling for about ~725K.

This is for 2500 sq ft on a 5000 sq ft lot. Very small if you ask me.

Yeah but if you had that kind of money why would you want to live in Ohio? I know Auburn Hills is an exclusive area but the weather there still sucks.

When you get up around that kind of coin you can get a palace anywhere in the US.

33480: Palm Beach....not counting rentals

$120,000 gets you about a 300 sq foot condo/closet?

Top property is $33,500,000....2004 built 8 bed/12 bath 24,151 sq feet

6.2Million or so can get you a 5800sq ft 4/4.5 sq ft place or a 3/2.5 condo in the Biltmore (taxes are $53,000 a year on this condo).

I think average in our area is around $300k now.
